What a day...

First period, I went to the awards ceremony for the National Latin Exam (which, by the way, was on the other ****ing side of the school). Once there, I, along with a number of other people, sat there for about ten minutes before we found out that one of the teachers had forgotten to make the necessary preparations for it, so we all had to get passes, then head aaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllll the way back to our first period classes.

English was pretty good. I think this was the first time in months we've actually had our teacher (we've had a student teacher for the past few months), and we started a new book (or, in this case, play): The Tempest, by William Shakespeare. As with Romeo and Juliet, we're acting it out, which is rather amusing (especially with our teacher's tendency to put people in opposite-gender roles - Juliet was a man half the time in that unit). We've only gone through one scene, but I like it so far, nevertheless.

In Latin, all we really did was review.

Same thing in Health. We're finally finished with the unit on STIs, which is an ENORMOUS relief to me.

Lunch was, as per usual, completely crazy...although perhaps it was slightly tamer than usual. Near the end of the period, the guy who is unanimously referred to throughout the school as Gay Joe came to our table, which was not pleasant (I don't have anything against gay people, but Gay Joe tends to flirt with us, which is just downright creepy).

Nothing of interest happened in History, Geometry, and Biology. When I got home, I checked out what games had been released on WiiWare (I don't have enough Wii points for any of them, unfortunately), then checked out the Nintendo Channel. I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered that they had updated the DS Demo Downloads. Of particular interest to me was Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney. I had never played an Ace Attorney game before, and I wanted to see what all the buzz was about. For the second time, a demo has convinced me to buy a game...first Ninja Gaiden DS, and now this.
