I heard about digibutter.nerr from Francis on SPM, but didn't think much of it. About one month later, I was on MarioWiki reading about Francis, and they had a page dedicated to digibutter. Turns out it was a real website. So, on May 18th, 2007, became a member of this site of all things Hi-Technicaaal!

I didn't start off great, overusing smilies and acting all n00b-ish, but hey. I've learned. Later that month, before June even came, I stopped coming on for some reason. I don't really remember why. I rediscovered the site in August, but I didn't want to be Tayl anymore, and I didn't know about Name-Tags. For some reason, I thought making multiple accounts was okay and made Kitayl. Over the Summer, I had improved with smilies and stuff, so people generally welcomed me more. After that, I used name-tags changed to Kit Quizmo, then Ashley, and then to my most famous change; Mona. I spent the majority of my time as Mona, and some of my best and worst experiences were during that time.

However, as our Digibirthday loomed, I ended up feeling guilty. Since January, I had considered going back to Tayl, but I was afraid I'd get ben'd or something, even though I had already announced I was Tayl. But still, on April 16th, 2008, I officially came back to my original account.

Digibutter has changed my life a lot, and I'm grateful I've had the chance to be here. My outlook on life, the things I think and do, and my overall personality has been influenced by you Nerrs. Not to mention it made me...less selfish and stuff. Here, I can interact with people in my same age group; the majority of you having similar backgrounds to mine. Bullies, depression, divorce, all that. Some of you had it better than me, others have it worse. It's made me realize that other people have lives too, and they don't just randomly exist. We're all individuals with our own histories, personalities, etc. Not to mention digibutter has a great balance of insanity and sanity...just the right amount for someone like me.

Also, when I joined, I was going through a lot of depression. It was horrible, and looking back while seeing things that have happened to all of you...I had no reason to be depressed. {Then again, depression is a medical condition, and isn't always caused by bad things happening to you.} But still, digibutter helped me get over it. Whenever I feel all depressed and stuff, I just think about digibutter, and how millions of other people have worse lives than I do. I have a great life, and I didn't realize it until I came here.

Digibutter also affected my personality. I used to just let people pick on me and such, but now I can stand up for myself. Through experiences on digibutter - whether it's roleplaying, chatting, or helping other people with their problems - I've become a different person. I'm not the same hopeless person I was before.

It might sound weird how a website can completely change you, but I see digibutter as more of a community than a forum. Kind of like school, you know what I mean? Except with less learning. :>

So, digibutter...

I want to thank you all for somehow standing me throughout this wonderful year I've been here. I hope I can gradually improve myself, and do a lot more contributing to the website. I want to help digibutter become the best it can be for as long as it can.

Just remember...even if I ever leave, my paradoxes and shifty Tangelas will be watching over you. ;3
