In an effort to stir up some activity on the boards, I'll be doing this. Yeah. >_>
Once we've decided on the best of the best for all series, we'll pit them all against each other and see which one is best.

Day 3 - Pokemon
Day 4 - The Legend of Zelda
Day 5 - Donkey Kong
Day 6 - Kirby
Day 7 - Metroid
Day 8 - Star Fox
Day 9 - Fire Emblem
Day 10 - Mother
Day 11 - F-Zero
Day 12 - Pikmin
Day 13 - Yoshi
Day 14 - WarioWare, Inc.
Day 15 - Animal Crossing
Day 16 - Kid Icarus
Day 17 - Metal Gear
Day 18 - Classic
Day 19 - Miscellaneous
Sonic doesn't have a category because he only has one remix. >_>
Title / Ending (Super Mario World): An upbeat medley of the title screen and the ending theme of the SNES classic Super Mario World.
Main Theme (New Super Mario Bros.): A tropical-sounding remix of the level theme from New Super Mario Bros., fitting Delfino Plaza perfectly.
Castle / Boss Fortress (Super Mario World / SMB 3): A sinister-sounding medley of the castle theme from Super Mario World and Boom Boom's theme from Super Mario Bros. 3.
Airship Theme (Super Mario Bros. 3): A warlike remix of the Airship music from Super Mario Bros. 3. It starts off relatively calm before escalating into a frightful-sounding, fast-paced song.
Ground Theme (Super Mario Bros.): A mellow piano arrangement of the iconic first level theme from Super Mario Bros.
Ground Theme 2 (Super Mario Bros.): A cheerful medley of a variety of Super Mario Bros. themes. The ground theme features most prominently, but it also includes the underground theme, the stage clear music, and the game over music.
Underground Theme (Super Mario Bros.): A relatively fast-paced remix of the underground level music.
Underwater Theme (Super Mario Bros.): It starts off with the original 8-bit music before escalating into a grandiose orchestrated version, then finally concluding with a ridiculous banjo segment.
Underground Theme (Super Mario Land): A dark-sounding remix of a song from Super Mario Land. A voice shouting "bang!" can be heard from time to time.
Mario Bros.: A remix of the original theme from Mario Bros., incorporating various instruments. |

Unless Partners In Time and Luigi's Mansion classify as spinoffs, you left a couple of songs behind.
Also, I can't decide between the Castle and the Airship themes.
