I thought this day would never come, but unfortunately...I'm going to try to quit digibutter again.

Though I know my efforts will most likely be futile, I unfortunately must at least attempt to leave the site. It's swallowed up my life and caused me to do somewhat poorly (B to B+ instead of an A- to A) in school. And, quite frankly, this isn't even fun anymore. The good old days, and even the days of a few months ago, were truly something wonderful, something fun, and something really amazing that made me feel like I was part of a wonderful community.

That feeling is gone.

I don't know what it is: maybe I've outgrown digibutter, maybe digibutter's outgrown me. I honestly have no idea. But I don't feel I can stay here any longer. This site is both my greatest joy and my greatest fear, and because of that, I suffer so greatly on the inside.

I'll probably be back, and might be lingering on for two days (just to tie up a few loose ends), but nothing more. RPOT I will not participate in for these two days (something I haven't done in months), and I'll generally avoid posting anywhere except this topic (unless I feel compelled to smack a member or two around or help in a conflict - a point where I might actually feel useful).

By the time you've read this, you've probably lost all respect you previously had for me. And you know what? That's okay. That means you weren't really my friend anyway, you just liked me because I stood out amongst a crowd and said some stuff that made you chuckle or help. To those of you who can still stand to look at me, thank you. You've been like a family to me, and really the only people in this world I could trust and feel comfortable with. But, I'm afraid, I must part ways.

My mother's banned me from using MSN or Skype, so there's absolutely no luck there. Unless you know inside connections or I actually feel like checking my e-mail one day, I'll pretty much be completely unreachable.

So, for my final setiment for a while or eternity, I thank you, digibutter.nerr. You've helped me grow as a writer, as a student, and as a person. I've had the best year of my entire life on this site, and I have been happy to see it grow. You members have been my family for months, and I cannot thank you enough for that. I'm honestly crying typing this, thinking of all the wonderful memories I've shared with all of you. It hurts me to leave, thinking back, but I really do have to go.
