So yeah. I'm not sure if the question has been asked before, but there is it: In order of epicness, how would you list Mario, Luigi, Wario and Waluigi? Like, in a Top 4?

Most epic: Wario, because he's done many quests for solely his own benefit. He's funny, greedy, and incredibly lucky, and there's so much more I can't explain. Oh, and he owns a game-making company. He can fart to fly around too.

2nd epic: Luigi. Luigi is random, easily-scared, the king of second banana, starred in a ghost-hunting game, etc. Even if he started as the second player and Mario's clone, Luigi made himself different from his brother first by his size and abilities, then by his personality. Luigi is far from being generic.

3nd epic: Waluigi. While Waluigi is supposedly all evil, he's more like badass. He's done many epic things, and his Red-Glowing eyes in Mario Tennis were just that epic.

Least epic: Mario. Now don't get me wrong, I don't hate Mario. But he feels a little generic compared to Wario and Luigi. On his personality side at least. But Mario is still capable of awesomeness.

1st Epic:Mario
He was so epic, he impacted America DRAMATICALLY when he first fought Bowser.

2nd Epic:Wario
Even when he was just being the penny pincher he is, Wario saved the world from pirates, evil jewels, and ghosts that were just as greedy.

3rd Epic:Luigi
He doesn't have much of a backbone anymore in situations he normally had no trouble dealing with, but he still has potential to save someone.
Mainly, his own brother, the superstar.

Least:Waluigi
He's an epic jackass, but being a bastard can only go so far on the epic scale.

WArio: Dude, he's FREAKING WARIO.

Luigi: He has the second most personality.

Mario: No personallity. Just 'lol, i is hero.'

Waluigi: No personallity. Just 'lol, i is villian', and he's a cheap ripoff of wario. NOONE RIPS OFF WARIO. EVAR.

Wario: Mean, greedy, and hilarious, the wild antics of this character produce plenty of memorable moments.

Luigi: He's like Mario, but with a more developed personality. He is somewhat of a coward, making his outings interesting.

Mario: The classic hero; he doesn't have much of a personality, but he represents courage and bravery. Also, unlike other god-like protagonists, he's a relatively average guy; being middle-aged, having facial hair, and being somewhat overweight. Even though he doesn't have much of a personality, many can find a way to relate to him, which was probably one of the reasons why his personality wasn't developed.

Waluigi: Waluigi is sort of likeable, but Waluigi is just a filler character. I can imagine the conversations surrounding his creation:

"We need some more character variety."

"Well, there's an evil version of Mario, so what the hell. Let's make an evil version of Luigi, too!"

"Works for me."

I do hope that Nintendo actually makes use of the character; Waluigi would be more likeable, then.

1. Wario. He loves garlic.
2. Luigi.

Mario and Waluigi are tied... I don't dislike either of them, but they don't have that much personality compared to the other two.

1. Mario. He's the most iconic video game character ever, and don't you forget it.
2. Wario. He's gone from villain to anti-hero in about 10 years. And he's better than ever thanks to WarioWare.
3. Waluigi: I like him somewhat, but in MP8 the rose he held when he won made me think of James in the Pokemon anime, and I wanted Waluigi in a coma.
4. Luigi. Gay Luigi and Mama Luigi are epic, but just plain ol' Luigi is a scaredy-cat and somewhat overpowered.

Waluigi has even less of a personality than Mario does.

#1. Luigi: Because he's awesome like that.

#2. Mario: Well he is the hero of the Mushroom Kingdom and I liked him for the longest time in 1st grade so yeah...

#3. Wario: He's not as great as Luigi and Mario IMO but I still respect him since he got his own games and he's a pretty decent character.

#4. Waluigi: Well...erm...Waluigi is kinda, well I don't know. I like using his overalls's color for Luigi in brawl but other than that he's kinda cheezy...=/

1. Wario: Wario has the most developed character out of nearly any Mario character, with the possible exceptions of Count Bleck, Dimentio, and Bowser. He is greedy, yet has somewhat of a heart and knows when to pitch in for the greater good (or for money, if it comes first...which it usuall does). He's a shining light of comedy in any game he appears in, and was my first Mario Party character I played as. Plus, garlic...mmm...awesome. Also, there's no doubting the fun and zanyness of Warioware or the genius of Wario Land/World.

2. Luigi: Luigi is in 2nd for one reason and one reason only: RPG's. Luigi, long Mario's shadow, hasn't really been my favorite character. I've had time to experiment with him but, other than in Super Luigi Galaxy, I never had great preference of the two brothers. That is, except in Mario & Luigi or Super Paper Mario. Luigi was hilarious in both of those games, and the victim/crybaby/hero/villan/anti-hero/high-jumper/crossdresser/babysitter/Yoshi cookie hoarder was awesome.

3. Mario: It's-a me, Mario! Yippie, ah hah hah!

4. Wa-lu-i-gi, yeah, yeah...what the?: Call me when Waluigi is officially in a Wario game, and then I'll take him seriously.

Out of these four characters, it was quite hard for me to choose but I'm going to have to choose in my legacy of Mario, Waluigi.

I had started to use Waluigi, when I played with him for the first time, in Mario Party 4. I had wanted to play with another character other than Luigi, so I had chosen Waluigi. I'm quite glad that I made that decision, becuase I then loved Waluigi. His catch phrases were very catchy, and soon I wanted Waluigi to have his own game. Sadly, I had lost interest in him, starting with Mario Strikers Charged, and I went back to having Luigi as my favorite. I may return to using Waluigi. Some day, I will.

With Luigi being my second, I started to enjoy Luigi in my first Mario game, Mario Kart 64. I had known about Mario, earlier, but Luigi seemed more....., I'm not quite sure how to put it. It might have just been random, and I continued to get used to using him.

Wario comes in third. I've grown to like him, mainly because I love to use him in Super Smash Bros Brawl. His attacks, his fighting style, and his uniqueness have made me to like Wario.

In last, comes Mario. The reason for this, I don't really hate Mario, but I find the other characters to give a better feeling to me. I'm pretty sure that they gave a different feeling than Mario. When I was younger, I thought Mario wasn't a good character, mainly because, as a CPU, he would always get last place in Mario Kart 64, Mario Party 1, and many other games.
