This game is not a filler by any standards. hell, it's a whole new type of Guitar Hero. In this Guitar Hero you will be able to play guitar, bass, drums, and vocals. it sounds a hell of a lot like Rock Band, which is awesome. So now we don't have to get the shitty RB import for Wii. This time around the drum kits have dedicated cymbal pads, making 5 areas instead of 4. It seems like Rock Band, but with ten times better songs, and other options.

May 22, 2008 - Activision made the details of the next full Guitar Hero game official in a news release today, confirming the info about the game revealed last week in Game Informer.
Guitar Hero World Tour will feature a set of instruments, including guitar, drums and microphone, and will allow players to compose, record, edit and share their own creations via an in-game studio tool.

The Activision release re-iterates the details revealed last week and adds that the Guitar Hero World Tour will include Battle of the Bands mode which allows eight players to join online and challenge each other band-to-band.
World Tour will also offer downloadable content for the Wii, making it the first Guitar Hero game to do so.
You will be able to create your own songs, which will of course unleash a furry of online funny/epic songs. What I like most is the fact that the game will have downloadable content. FINALLY! A game that has the same for Wii as it does for other consoles.
It's a rip-off of Rock Band with a create-a-song function.
It's not even Guitar Hero. It's "Watch me play a fake guitar while my friend beats on drums, my other friend stums his fake bass, and my other other friend sings bad karaoke into the mic... Hero".
It's a major rip-off of Rock-Band, which really sucks. The Create-a-song feature will most likely be sh*t. You know it. Meh, I'll probably end up getting it, if the price isn't insane.
