Alright, Day 2 of my Wii Fit training! Time to see how much I've improved...
Well, my center of balance has completely shifted since yesterday. Now it's slightly to my right (by about 1.7%) and is on my big toe.
My drop in weight since yesterday was 1.7 pounds. I realize that I did barely anything yesterday (30 minutes does not a workout make), and most of that is just water and food exiting my body, but my body will adjust soon...
My BMI dropped by about .30, a decent start. Things are looking promising.
I plan to start using Wii Fit at about 1:00 PM PST and ending some time around 6:00 PST, taking constant breaks during those times. I'll update this blog with that information when it comes.
This morning before school, I'm going to do a few Yoga stretches and see if that helps me get through my day. ^^
Thank you all for listening and supporting this. This was much more popular than I expected, especially for blognerr. |

Sorry, I forgot my balance test results!
On my steadiness test, I got 61% steadiness. Pretty decent for me, especially considering how jumpy and nervous I am.
However, on my walking test, I got a nice 72%, which I find great.
My Wii Fit age, however, is what got me the most. Yesterday it was 28...and now it dropped down to 15, just ONE year older than I actually was!
That was...really suprising, I have to say.
Alright, no more updates until I actually get something to update about. C U all later. ^^ |

You take 20 steps, and the game measures your Center of Balance through each step.
Honestly, it's thrilling to get more than 50%. XD |

Well, I guess it's useful if you want to see how good you would be a ice-skating =P |

Wii Fit is nothing but a great big flop. Really. I never cared too much about it really, either way. |

Sadly, I can't take screenshots. Sorry...they're in the Free Run mode, if that helps. ^^
Well, I'm taking Wii Fit's suggested first break for me today. I'm feeling really good after finishing with the push-up and side plank exercise (which is very nice and somewhat challenging even just doing six reps). Then I took a short, 3-minute job, did well on the Hula Hoop (pelvic rotation) and Basic Step (rhythm) challenges. I did a few legs stretches and a tree pose in Yoga, as well as some twists. I did really well with some balance exercises (for me), actually completing the tightrope walking exercise and doing decently on my first try for this wierd level that's like the bubble levels in Super Mario Galaxy, but you control Mii with the balance board rather than the wind.
I'm feeling really good, my stance is more firm, and my leg isn't twitching as much. This is good. ^^ |

Wow, you're lucky. The game isn't helping me that much. Probably because I don't play that long on it. |

I'm just trying. ^^
Well, I've reached the one hour mark today for Wii Fit. After trying nine times to beat the game where I'm trapped in a bubble (and succeeding at the end), I decided to go for 10 repititions on the Push-Ups and Side Planks. It BURNED...GREATLY! So then I decided to burn more...
I did Free Run's Island Run. I took a slow but steady pace to get rid of more calories...resulting in 11 minutes of uninturrupted running (with my longest break lasting for a little less than 5 seconds). And as a person who doesn't naturally agree with long-distance running that isn't really well-paced out, this...really, really hurt. Short-distance running isn't much of a problem, fortunately, which I used to cool off a bit.
I then unlocked what has to be my favorite balance game yet. Imagine the Tilt Island mini-game from Super Paper Mario. Now imagine that with the Wii Balance board. Good, now take out the obstacles, replace the food with fish, and replace the Mario characters with your Mii in a penguin suit. It's cuddly awesomeness!
And now I'm taking a rest for my really tired legs...I'll be sure to get on soon again, in an hour or so. ^^ |
