So, I'm down at the library today on my homebound instruction. I absolutely love school now. I have enough time to sleep and relax during the day, and then classes with my homebound teacher, this amazing, really kind guy who's been teaching for almost 40 years and ahs this old convertible gold Mustang. Aside from slight emo periods brought on by my mood disorder, I've been pretty upbeat lately.
However, as it gets closer to the end of the school year. I'm starting to see my not-so-beloved classmates at the library now, just so they can smoke out front, hang around in the construction-site playground, or chat on the computers, though.
But today I've got even strangers poking fun at me. You see, we got my hair straightened by a chemical process so that it stays straight for a long period of time, and I can just redo it with a hair iron after I shower. The thing is, when I shower, the chemical is relaxed and my hair gets curly. That's one factor of the situation today.
The other factor is that it's hot and HUMID. I have really tight curls that don't interlock, and instead layer on top of one another. The layers expand in the heat. I look like Scary Spice.
It's the return of Puffy-Head (or Hairy Girl, whatever people feel like calling me) AGAIN. People just keep looking at me and laughing.
