You yourself said you hate how you like Toon link as a character, and the people who hate him play him because he's good, so you don't like him much anymore.
The same case is with Lucas, except noone likes him in the first place.
Seriously. Use people you like, not people who are good. I use Ness, despite that sometimes, he kind of sucks, (seeing as Ness's playstyle physically can't beat Ike.) I like Ness more than the others, so I evidentally use Ness. |
I like the MOTHER series in general and I can't use Ness, because he feels a little too heavy, unlike Lucas, who fits my style much better. |

Oh, good job being a frontier lover.
Thing is, Brawl wasn't made in America, Brawl doesn't need to be all-american.
Frontiers don't meana thing when you are choosing whether people will or won't like this character in the game. And this means a majority, as you can't make the whole world pleased.

As Ive said 1000 times I don't Main
but Lucas is one of my Favorites. I'm a Mother Fan deep down ( though I may not be as Loud as other DigiPatrons bout the excellence of the series) I could care less that Lucas is "good" Lucas is just fun to use, I prefer him to Ness ultimately.
but my favorite reason for using Lucas Id have to say is Teaming up with Nate Pyrokai. Both of us Mother Fans, We have Team "Mother Brother" where he uses Ness and I use Lucas.
As for the charecter himself I'd say his brawl incarnation is accurate to him during the beginning of his adventure (he is young, somewhat inexperienced, afraid and living in his brothers shadow, ala luigi complex.)
I love the Accuracy. yes I like Lucas as a Character. Mind you my experience with Lucas as a charecter is from translated game script.
Oh, and another thing. lets get this strait, no charecter sucks, ( in reference to you saying Ness sucks) Its all in how you use the charecter, everyone has strengths and weaknesses.
Compared to Lucas, Ness has got Superior Air combat the bat is stronger but slower than the stick, PK thunder is quicker, ect ect. Its how you use the differences.
Ness is less traditional, harder to use but when used correctly he is great, for the record. |

Well, I play as Lucas because I like the character himself. I mean...He is pretty good, but that is definitely not the main reason why I choose to play as Lucas. Plus, I usually play as the very light characters who are able to jump pretty well so that I can pretty much get myself back onto the stage if needed. Since Lucas is pretty light he can get sent flying pretty early. But I can usually get back fine with his little jump...thingie. =o

Wait. That pretty much means that I play as him because he's good. XD lol BUT NO. D= I play as Lucas because I like to play as the little guys and he's awesome. =3 Personality wise.
(BTW, Lucas is my 2nd main. =3 Kirby is my main main. BD lawlz) |
