I saw this movie yesterday and so here is a review.

So they never really explain where Henry Jones Jr. has been for 20 years, they just say he's been teaching and exploring and stuff. It starts out with Jones being thrown out of a trunk and being asked to help find something. He is taken to a room, a huge warehouse. A huge warehouse with the numbers 51 painted on the doors, it took me a while to realize it was area 51. This was my favorite part. He has to find one box in a room full of 9001 million. He uses gun powder to find it, (which is so unbelievable as it floats through the air.) They find it blah, blah blah. What I liked best is as they are in the warehouse one of the boxes breaks and you can see a little bit of what's inside. Low and behold it's the Lost Ark. I lol'd at that little tie in. So the story was weird and confusing but they have this weird magnetic crystal skull that was actually the skull of an alien, ohgeez. So that's when I started to get annoyed at the unbelievability. Now I won't go into detail but the skull has magical powers, ohhh eeee ohhhhhh. And all that crap. Shit goes down s'more and they end up at the "Final Destination" in every movie where everything at the end happens. SERIOUZ SPOILERS AHEAD ZOMG They put the skull back on the head of an alien, which is filled with 13 crystal alien skeletons. More crap, big bad guy dies and the temple begins to crumble. They get out and UNDER THE TEMPLE IS A MOTHER *cragging* SPACESHIP!!! A SPACESHIP! I sighed so loud the fat guy next to me shushed me. Seriously, a space ship? That is just too unbelievable. All the other Indiana Jones had some part of magic, but not this out there. I think that it kinda threw the credibility of the series out the window. I am now going to watch the three others and compare it to that (I haven't seen them in forever). I say this movie gets a 7/10 I expected much more from it.

Oh and it was predictable Shia Lebauef turns out to be Indy's son and Indy gets married to his mom.

This is one of the movies that hardcore fans will droll over, I consider myself a fan, but not that much. You have to see it for yourself to get the full effect.

I loved it.

Hardcore fan = me. Not like... Dress-up hardcore, though. XD

And believe me people, it's a really weird movie, but it still has that amazing Indiana Jones feel to it. The theme ties in with the time period.

And, Cyber, seriously. Don't be unbelieving... It's a movie... Which means anything could happen. A limbless giraffe could randomly fall from the sky. It wouldn't make sense, but it could happen. D:

Oh i know that, but the thing is I liked the series because it always had something in it that made me believe it was true. This one, I don't know but it seemed to be too much of a stretch. It is most definitely my least favorite of the series.

I'll still buy it though >_>

Oh yes, definitely not my favorite either (Raiders is by far the best in my opinion).

I liked it pretty well. There were a few supremely lulzworthy moments throughout, and the action was... well, interesting, at least.

But yeah, it was pretty unbelievable.

*should really get to seeing the original trilogy ;_;*

It....was....EPIC.

Spoiler time!

So....Indy is dragged out of a car by a creepy Soviet Russian lady named Irina Spalko, who asks him to retrieve a box inside Area 51. Inside is a skeleton....of something. And then his partner Mack turns out to be a traitor. So they fight and stuff. Very Happy Later, Indy goes back to his college, where he gets a message from Shia LaBeouf (Mutt) that Mutt's mom (who turns out to be Marion Ravenwood) and Prof. Oxley are somewhere in Peru looking for a lost city. So, they go to Peru, find a jail cell that leads to a ruin, and they find the crystal skull. They then are caught by Irina and Mack, and are interrogated. Then more spoileriffic stuff happens. Then Indy, Mutt, and Ravenwood get stuck in quicksand. Mutt and Marion get out, and Indy gets stuck. And Mutt gets him something to grab onto....and it's a snake. Indy gets freaking pissed about this. Then more stuff happens. Around this point we learn that Marion Ravenwood is Mutt's mom, and Mutt is Indy's son. They then get in a truck chase and Shia sword fights Irina, and Shia gets hit in the ballz multiple times LOL. (that's the best part!) Razz Indy and the Soviets fight over the crystal skull and eventually they all crash into a pile of man-eating ants. Indy and the good guys outrun the Soviets, and fall down 3 waterfalls. Then they go in a cave, find a spoileriffic spoiler, and get attacked by natives. Then the find a ruin that has a mechanism that gets them into a treasure vault of sorts, and then Oxley finds a hall with 13 crystal skeletons, one of which is missing a head. Irina somehow gets in there, and puts the head on the skeleton. Then the skeletons morph together and make an alien, which blows Irina's brains out and she dies. Then the good guys escape just in time to see the aliens leave Peru in their spaceship. Then at the end, Indy and Marion get married. And everyone lives happily ever after.
YOU MUST SEE THIS MOVIE. Very Happy I give it an A+++

I love how at the end Shia LaBouf is about to put on Indy's hat, and I was like "oh god no this is the cheesiest thing ever" but then Indy's all like "My hat, bitch." That ruled.

I agree with Cyber, the whole alien, excuse me, OTHERDIMENTIONAL BEINGS, was too much. Yeah you got the unrealistic part of Indiana Jones (think about it, in ROTLA he shot like 14 men without reloading his gun, and the girl was completely sober after just getting freaken drunk!), but the whole alien thing was just too much. I enjoyed the tie ins and the fight scene, that really gave the feel of the old Indiana Jones, but the climax dissapointed me. Honestly, I'm about to scream "This is what happens when you take an old movie and you can put in believable computer effects!!!"

Overall I'd give it a 6.5/10 At least they plan to continue the series. Oh, and has anyone noticed that Shia Lebauef is mkaing some good friends with Steven Spielberg?

I LOVED this movie.

I give it an 8.5 or 9 out of 10, I think it's mainly because I wasn't expecting much. Sure it was an Indiana Jones movie, but that was all I expected. I wanted a movie full of mystery, mythology and action, and that's what I got.

The ending had a few plot holes, but I feel as I'm one of the only non-fanboy person who has no problems with the plot itself.

No duh. Did you notice that James Bond is Indy's dad? (well...the actor, anyway.)
