Just thought I should share this.

I don't want to be an ass or something, but from my point of view, Digibutter ended up sucking.
It was THE most awesome site when I first joined. but over the months it just became worse and worse...

To back up my "theory", here's some points why digibutter became the butt of the digital world:

To start off, this site was fun, extremely fun. It had this intelligent community(something most internet-sides lack)
But it had a weak point: the R-POT. You know what I'm talking about, spamming all over the place.
But I didn't give a damn, and just avoided it. I simply didn't go to the R-POT nor the OT, unless I had read all the other forums, and was still bored.

BUT THEN! November came. Many good old members left, and way too many n00bs joined. It was the horror!(I might have overdone this a bit, but meh)
And it just became worse! DRAMA! Drama here, and drama there.
And when it came to January, even more good members left, due to low grades.
And since I never posted in the R-POT nor OT, I became less and less known.
One time I even heard somebody say:"who's Sind?"
And I had to ask him the same thing. I didn't know who he was. He was months newer then me, yet had more posts then me.
You could smell miles away what the case was. He was a R-pottie. His only posts were in the r-pot, while all my posts were on the other forums. No way we could know eachother
Then Malak came back.(Yes. That's a bad thing for me) He said he wanted to start anew, and asked us to forget the stupidness he had done in the past. And I agreed. But he still became his old self: A spammer that people respected.
There were also some other problems with the site: Like the cookies. Abused tokens of spam, as I called them. Guy A made a 2 page long sense- and meaningful post, while Guy B made some 2 second animated gif. Guess which guy got most cookies.

I could go on with the list forever, but I think you got the point already.

I got tired of Digibutter, and went back to good old SMWC, a site I knew a month before I found out about Digibutter, and a site better then Digibutter ever will be.

*sheaths Galaxia and crosses arms*

You know...I kind of agree with Sind here....er...well...not here but wherever he may be.

For how amazing Digi is, I miss what it used to be like when I first joined. It is SPAM ridden, and the nonsense that it has is chaotic. It is a shame that all the wonderful characters left and the horrors refered to as the n00bs rolled in.

If only there was a way to bring back the Digibutter of old, where pies where the normal hello greeting, where RPs like me set records and kept the site alive, where SPAM was not as abundant as it is, where Clans kept secrets and lost secrets.

Sind has some valuable points there, but what he doesn't realize is that there is a very thin line between humor and spam. One can simply look at a thread that has no meaning and is random and say "Hey that topic is spam!" yet many others find humor in it. But what I'm really trying to say is it depends on your viewpoint and personality if a topic is SPAM or not. Lets face it some people don't have a good sense of humor and Sind might not find what many nerrs here find funny funny at all. And of course nobody is going to know who a person is if they never post in Off Topic or RPOT, there the 2 biggest forums on the whole site! But personally I can care less but thats just me.
