This is an idea, not begging.
See, the deal is, francis wants us to not take up the Nintendo characters. (Hence, the earthbound problem, with WAY too many good earthbound alts taken.)
So, here's the deal: If we're going to have four alt slots, and NOT have that problem, do this.
Users are aloud 4 alt slots. BUT. 3 of them are 'free' and one of them is 'only Originals' as to not take up Nintendo char. space.
Don't give me anything on Miyamojo.Let's face it, we want our unoriginal alts to meet the originals in RPOT. So you get your 3 unoriginals, which can be made original if you feel like it, and your alt that MUST be original. Having four originals would result in punishment from the moderators.

Why don't we just have MORE ALT SLOTS DAMMIT and get rid of those Miyamojo slots? Miyamojo's not even used, I say get rid of the thing! It's a waste of space.

Agreed.
And some people just suck at coming up with original characters. (Like me, for instance. D: ) It wouldn't be fair to force someone to have one as their last alt. On the flip side, it wouldn't be fair to prevent someone like, say, Tayl--who has literally dozens of epic originals--to use that slot for an existing characters. |

I prefer the idea of having a certain number of slots that we can divide into each section however we want. |

Because certainly more than one person will want the same original character.
