The Devil's Machine was a stage? It would be like this:

The stage would have two low down-slanting platforms to represent the small staircase, and two up-slanting platforms aove that to symbolize the top of it(mostly to make the stage more interesting though).

The Devil's Machine containing Giygas inside is set in the center with a giant picture of Ness' face on it(like in the game), and if your attack hits it, it flashes and you take that damage, like if you attacked Giygas in the game while fighting Pokey.

Speaking of which, Pokey will occasionally come out to spray stinky gas, which slowly increases percent if you're caught in it, and he also sometimes runs his machine across the stage to ram players.

After a bit, the Devil's Machine is turned off and you're fighting in an all flat stage with no gaps, featuring Giygas in the back. From time to time, Giygas will release a big ring of light(Giygas' attack), which can cause largley varying effects, like flower, sleep, dizzy, damage, knockback, bury, etc.

Giygas would slowly split into more Giygas', like the fight is progressing, and eventually, the backround would go completely fizzy. Once the fizz clears, you find yourself back at the first part of the stage.

A secret feature is that Ness(and maybe Lucas too) could lightly flick the down taunt(ala snakes codec), and they would get in a praying position. If successfull, the screen flashes green, like as if you made an attack in Earthbound, and a text box will open on the top of the screen, where Giygas will say one of his famous lines(Ex: I feel.......h....a....p...p...y.....).

The music available for this stage would be:
Pokey Means Business(default song)
Giygas' Battle Music(it opens with the music that plays in Giygas' lair, then starts playing the Giygas battle music)
Eight Melodies
Eight Melodies(MOTHER 1)
and others, but i'm low on ideas right now.

Perfect idea, except one problem. NOA would never put the word devil, even if the game IS rated T. >.>
