Title says all. And if you pick Bowser, please tell which one.

Anyway, for me it would have to be Option 1. For starters, there's too much stuff to attack! She gets like, 6-8 atacks per turn, while you only get two. Although, they are fairly easy to dodge. And also, her HP. 3000 HP. I think that says enough, if you've played the game. If not, let me explain. You do about 60-120 ish damage per turn without items. If you suck at the Bros. items, you're screwed. If you are as good as me/better, you can do about 200+ damage. That's still a long battle because you also have to destroy the foot and the crown before you can actually damage her herself.

And before you tell me Shrowser is the final boss, no. I refuse to let that sad, sorry excuse for a boss be considered the final boss of this awesome game.

When I looked at the topic, I just said "Elder princess shroob is the second hardest boss on the face of the earth" Coming directly after DUN DUN DUUUUUN Chaos at the end of final fantasy one. *shivers*

Shadow Queen. I had to restart the whole game because I was too low a level and everything gave me 1 star point except for Rawk Hawk, which gave me 2-3.

Most RPG final bosses are extremely hard. At least the ones I've played.

Cackletta is the only one on that list that I haven't beaten in an RPG. SQ is hard, but beatable. And only worth one star point.

HER DIFFICULTY LEVEL SHOULD MAKE HER GIVE OUT 9001 STAR POINTS

Lucky me! In Europe she has a bit less than 2000 HP Very Happy In that case, I have to choose SM64DS Bowser. He's darn annoying and the star stage makes him even worse!

Cackletta's legendary ridiculously hard final boss battle. Oh my god, you have no idea how many enemies I had to grind through to even get close to beating her.

That was really, really easy. D:

I had the most trouble with Elder Princess Shroob. It was so hard... Because Americans deserve stronger bosses. XD

I see no Smithy on this list. Not that he was the hardest, he was like 3rd or something, but still, when you're comparing it to Super Dimentio...

...Cackletta's ghost was mean. Shadow Queen was only annoying because if I lost I had to watch that damn cutscene again and again, eating up about 30 minutes per battle. But, equipping the right badges could easily defeat the SQ. Cackletta...demanded perfection in avoidance.

EPS was just long. Her attacks were much easier to dodge than Cackloser's.

Smithy is insane...except if you have Toadstool in Lazy Shell. Then he's just long. I can't give him more of an edge over EPS.

Bowser...alright, Bow-wow's been a joke of a final boss for years. Paper Mario was superduper easy, Mario 64 was meh, Super Mario Sunshine...I don't want to talk about it, Mario Galaxy was again meh, but moreso meh than SM64. His last great battle was in Super Mario World (since SMW2 was technically his first great battle), so...yeah.

And Super Dimentio...really, when Mr. L on his own and Dimentio on his own are harder to beat than them combined with the object of unlimited destruction...ugh...

I also think Smithy needs to be on this list.

Never played Superstar Saga or PiT, so I can't be the judge of those.

SQ was CRAZY hard for me; the first time I went against her, like many before me, I just didn't have the cajones (or the items) for fighting her. I found a nifty way to ensure you're prepared, though.

First, once you've finished Chapter 4, at the end of each chapter (heck, I do it once 4 is finished), go to Twilight Trail and start smacking the Crazy Dayzees and lone Hyper Cleft until you run into an Amazy(sp?) Dayzee.

The trick here is to use Art Attack on the sucker to kill him in one shot (or at least SEVERELY weaken him). Keep at it until you've leveled. THEN head back to whatever you do. If you're not at Level 30 by the time you fight Grodus, (actually 26-28 is probably manageable), keep hunting those golden smiling flowers until you are.

Super Dimentio was a joke. A Block Meal and Dayzee Syrup are all I need, and he's wasted in less than 30 seconds with Bowser. Heck, with the right equipment, even the Sammer Guys I found to be rather easy.

Ol' Spike-Back has been Mario's main foe for years; however, I have YET to fight him in PM, so I can't give a verdict on him.

I tend to fail at end bosses in RPGs because I am pretty good about abusing weaknesses of my enemies and planning ahead. That being said I'm usually at too low of a level when I finally get to the final boss, which usually results in my losing. This is especially true in action based RPGs where you can fully dodge enemy attacks with good timing.

Elder Princess Shroob: Holy crap this is a difficult battle! It must've taken AT LEAST an hour the first time. And those attacks are so hard to dodge. Plus: the battle takes place after another difficult battle, which you probably lost all your items on, and cannot save after. So, her sister has 2500 HP, she has 2500 HP on the first form, and 3000 in her second....THAT'S 8000 HP! Not to mention, in the final form, you have to attack her tentacles, body, and crown before she takes any damage, and they come back after every few turns. My advice: collect lotsa' beans, and never spend them. When Fawful offers you a badge that gives the wearer infinite Bros. Items, buy it! It's the best possible badge to have in the battle. I had to backtrack to get it, but luckily it's fairly easy to leave Shroob castle.

Cackletta: Kinda hard the first time: I even left Bowser's Castle to gain EXP. I can easily defeat her now, however.

Shadow Queen: I hated sitting through that dang cutscene every time I lost, which was a lot. This was another one where I left the area to level up. The hard part was simply surviving, since, after several tough bosses and tons of enemies and puzzles, you probably have no items left and little HP. Her attacks take MASSIVE damage and dodging is near impossible. There's no real easy way to beat her, that I know of, so you just have be lucky and at a high level. I do remember that I beat her by putting my partner up front and by waiting until she was near finished to use any star power.

Bowser: There were a few Bowser battles that annoyed me (TTYD, in particular) but he is usually not much of a pain.

Super Dimentio: Just pathetic. I beat him on my first try, and with little effort. I'm sure you all agree with this one.

In the end, I can't really decide between Elder Princess Shroob and Shadow Queen, as they were both real pains in the crag.

Feeling Fine + Power Plus x2 + Power Bounce + Power LIFT = Pwnage. I'm able to knock her down a few notches by the time she actually strikes.

Same.

Indeed. Turns out the super-powerful Chaos Heart isn't so powerful after all... Razz
