You could go into 10000 battles and not see one. It's a 1/8192 chance, not one appears every 8192 battles. |

Well, of course, in Crystal version I have shiny Gyradoes...one time in Ruby version, I found a shiny Medicham in the Victory Road and caught it. I started over without trading it to my Sapphire version, so I don't have it anymore. D: |

This brings Viva Pinata to mind, with Wildcard Pinatas.
Some guy bred over 3,500 Syrupents and never got a Wildcard, when the odds are about 1/1000.
Another guy got a Wildcard Syrupent on his 3rd egg. |
