What M'aiq thinks we need is a [time] tag.
How it would work:
Say you want to hold a meeting somewhere, at about 12:00 PM EST. This may cause trouble for people in other timezones, if they cant find a guide somewhere. What it will do is display the time proportionate to them.
[time] This will put down the current time. In EST, it would say 10:54 AM right about now, and to a guy in England, it would be displayed as 3:54 PM(if I calculated right)
[time=14:20]
This will display the time you specified, only skewed towards other people.
So if the poster uses [time=14:20] in EST, it will display as 2:20 PM to those in the EST timezone. The person in England will see it as 7:20 PM, however.
The person in England puts down [time=12:30], which to those in England, displays as 12:30 PM. In EST, it would show as 7:30 AM.
Catch the drift? This would make it much easier to organize events(provided you people set your timezones on this forum) and lessen the hassle of tracking down a calculator for the timezones. |
