Enough for the fads, time for discussion.
Once again, we all know Luigi was quite buffed for SSBB, since he was utterly accomplished FAIL in SSBM. Where can you see the buffs? What is your opinion on his SSB64 self? What do you think Nintendo/HAL was thinking of when Luigi's FS was made? Do you think it was a truly unacceptable slip to make the announcer imply a disliking of some sort for Luigi? |

His most notable buffs are the tweaks to his Coin Jump and Green Missile, and Negative Zone. Also, he feels akward enough to get his character down, but not enough to throw off Luigi mainers.
His role in SSE kinda seems filler-ish, since he does almost nothing but get pwnt left and right. |

I love him. His playstyle is so fluid and awkward. Also, in case anyone hasn't noticed, he slides when he stops walking like in Galaxy. |

Also, if you use Green Missile and he hits a wall, he'll plant himself into the wall before getting himself un-stuck after a second or two. |

He's god at boss battles. People come up with strategies with rock smash, but with luigi, all you do is use aerial attacks, and before you know it, you've won.
I wish I had proof, but on my intense, no stickers playthrough in SSE, I went to great maze, fought tabuu, and I had yoshi, luigi, fjoifghgehrgiuegherigheriuheriu
Yoshi took out about a sixth of tabuu's health, if not less. Wee Gee? He took out the other 5/6 no joke. I thought. "DANGIT. How did I accidentally fight tabuu on easy? Now I have to do the whole fight over again. I go over to fight tabuu, and to my UB3R SHOCK. It said I did it on intense. Now, I can only take out half of tabuu's health with luigi, but damn, with tabuu, that is a LOT. I recommend you try it yourself.
This is how I thought luigi was my main. One wi-fi later, I went back to Ness. Luigi is only good for SSE, not real matches. Notably, Diddy is only good for real matches, not SSE. (As in, his up B is Nerfed so badly in SSE, that he's almost impossible to use on the crazy levels they make you do with him, like the first portion of the swamp. |

I like his SSE appearance. I think that it was good, because it let him finally step out of Mario's shadow. |

Damn, I can't wait for day 18.
I loved Luigi in SSBM, he was one of my mains. I haven't actually played him in Brawl since I don't actually own it and a Wii, but I'm glad they buffed him. |

Luigi is an extremly epic fighter in brawl, most people at first cannot grasp how well of a fighter he is intill they learn that his true potential is in the air. His awkard fighting style is what makes him stand out from his bro and his final smash demostrates that Luigi is finnally stepping out of his bro's shadow and is gonna start his own legacy of epic and awesome. So in other words, brawl gave Luigi the best treatment of style and skill that he needed to be reconized for. |

Luigi is one of the best, and most of the scenes he's in the SSE are the best ones in the game. Besides, they made him more like Luigi. He has his voice and the looks too. |

Woahwoahwoah.
Luigi has been like this since the Super Mario Bros. 2 (JP) remake in All-Stars. I'm not sure if it was like that in the SMB3 remake too, but that's just because I haven't played it in a while.
He was also like this in Melee, though I'm again not sure if he was in SSB64.
Anyway, I'm really happy about quite a few things with Luigi in Brawl.
1. The ability to get vertical distance using the Luigi Tornado. Yes, it was like that in Melee, but you could only hover just slightly above ground.
2. New voice. YESYESYESYESYES. Seriously, sped up SM64 voice=ugh. D:
3. Overall buffs. Too lazy to list them all, but the Green Missile is a somewhat more effective knockout move now. Very useful.
All-in-all, Luigi's more fun to play with than I expected.
In the SSE, I think it's pretty cool that he was one of the three Dedede chose to put the badges on. That didn't make me any less unhappy that I couldn't play as him till the very end, though. |

luigi has always just been mario that jumps higher and has no traction whatsoever. that's the general change they made. he did it in teh 2-D games. |

I despise everything about Luigi in Brawl, thanks to my *crag* older brother. The main thing about him that pisses me off if that his Smash comes out lightning-fast and can KO even Dedede at 80% without even charging the attack, and his aerials are about that godly as well.
But that's just me being biased because I hate him. |

Even if I don't play as him much (Planning to, though), Luigi is one of my absolute favorite fighters in Brawl. His awkward and unpredictable style of fighting is an absolute godsend to mainers everywhere. He has many effective KO moves, and can pretty much beat any character with a stick-and-move strategy. Overall, he's a great fighter, who I plan to try and main one day. |
