"HOW DOES IT LOOK LIKE I'M DOING!? You know what!? Drop down and give me 50! This may not be the army, but it's still my Gym, and I say you can't battle me until you get down on that floor, and I see some push ups, MAGGOT!"

He finished screaming, and felt only a little guilt taking out his frustration on the young man in font of him.

"Do you need to go to the doctor?" Raphael offered, extending his hand to the injured Lt. Surge.
"Oh, and by the way," he whispered, slightly angry, "majors outrank lieutenants significantly, so watch who you're ordering to do pushups, sweetheart."
In seconds, though, he was back to his cheerful self. "Here, I'll help you. Once you're all better, then we can battle."

"'Major'? 'Sweetheart'?" He smacked the hand away. "You're hardly a man yet, and you talk like a woman. Something tells me you've never even been in the army, son. Nice try, though."

"Fine. If you want to battle me while you're injured, then you can do that, hon." Raphael was rather irritated by Surge's ego. He raised one eyebrow at the accusation that he'd never been in the army, having fought in both World Wars.
"So, are you going to take me on, or are you too intimidated by my androgyny?"
