Did you recently install Garry's Mod or update it recently? The latest TF2/Portal updates from Valve have damaged the program. They are currently working on a solution. The article can be found here. |

Check your system properties and go to advance. Next, go to performance and DEP (Data Execution Prevention). Check to see whether your DEP is turned on or off. |
