Which would you say is more worth it? By this, I mean the system itself and in conjunction with its games.
The PS3 or the X-Box 360?
A nearby store has them going for $499 and $399, give or take $100.
Or should I just go buy some more Wiipoints and get myself some classics and wait for the prices to go down or for more games to come out? |

An xbox 360 if you like first person shooters or role-playing games. The ps3 if you just wanna get your hands on it now, and use it as a paperweight while waiting for good ps3 games.
If Shooters aren't your genre at all, don't get a 360... it makes up the majority of it's games. If you like shooters, especially first person, you'll love the 360 with every fiber of your being. |

I believe that it is a good idea to buy a PS3 and wait. It is likely to, in the near future, have the best genre variety out of the three. |

This. If you especially love RPG, a PS3 is a must.
For example, expect some good Final Fantasy games. Its a very unique RPG game with a unique engine.
Also, if you love Graphics, I prefer the PS3 personally but the 360 has good graphics as well. |

I'd suggest the PS3. And no, not just for MGS4. It's bound to have some excellent titles besides MGS4 in the future, so it would be a great idea to get one now. |

I'd suggest getting a PS3, but that's only 'cuz I love FF.
I'm sure there's gonna be other good games for it, but I only pay attention to what I want to pay attention to. |

PS3. It will have the most extensive library of exclusive games in all sorts of genres. Most 360-exclusive games are shooters (and even they come to PC eventually). Also, the PS3's online is really well-done, and is just as effective as the 360's, only free. |

E3 is coming up soon, and each has claimed to have some really big "announcements". I would wait until then and have a better feel for the future. Right now, I would say go with a PS3, unless you have a bunch of friends who have Xbox already. |
