Played the demo for it. Great game.

Basically, a famous guy is on his deathbed, and the entire game is his final dream, which has alot of musical inspiration.

Story:

Aside from what the trailer shows, not much else is revealed about it.

Graphics:

It's a Namco game, so it will obviously look fantastic. See for yourself.

Characters:

This game's characters resemble the ones from Tales of Symphonia in quite a few ways. Examples? The main guy(Allegreto I think) is a swordsman with a cocky attitude. The other two characters were a girl with an umbrella, and a kid with a magic cane shotgun thing.

Combat:

This is where things get good. The combat system is a bit like a combination of ToS combat and traditional RPG combat. When a turn starts, the character has a set amount of time to move and attack as they please. As you hit enemies, an attack meter goes up, and this powers up your spells. If you go and cast a spell with no combo, it will be a pitiful little splash, but do it after getting 32 hits, and you will send a tsunami of damage on an enemy. Sadly, the meter resets after a spell, so you have to be careful with who uses attack. Another thing you need to watch out for is lighting. LIGHTING SERVES A PURPOSE IN THIS GAME. First off, each character can equip only two spells, one for sunlight use, and one for use in the shade. Polka, for example, can only cast healing spells in daylight, which can make fighting in forests tricky. Enemies make use of this too. How? Transformations, of course! The demo was full of these tiny pumpkin things on a sunny field. When they enter the shade, they become giant onion things of doom. Harder to kill, harder to dodge. Now what if you want to dodge an impending attack? Well, when an enemy is about to lash out on you, you have a very small moment to block each attack. This can be very difficult, but very rewarding when mastered.

To learn more about this game, check out the IGN links M'aiq posted. The E3 trailer is purely excellent, and you should really watch it.

M'aiq is most definatly getting this game when it comes out. Very Happy
