That was one of the first shortcut videos that I had found when I got the game. I've been able to master those shortcuts, and it's taken a lot of practice but it's been worth it. As silly as it sounds, other videos that I have found of other shortcuts (easier ones) I have not been able to master, and I believe that I should get to mastering them.
The shortcut that is my favorite is the GBA Bowser's Castle. That took the most time at mastering, but once it is mastered, the total time one the course is reduced. (I've actually never played Time Trials, as silly as it sounds, but when I do, I will definitely use the shortcut.
