Nothing about digibutter is going wrong. Think of how many times people have gone on rants, and said "Digibutter is falling apart" or "Off-Topic is making the site worse" or "[forum] needs to be deleted" or [user] needs to be banned".
Honestly, until 65% of the active members leave, the site is fine. And we're constantly getting new members, whether or not they're going to be active, so we're in no danger unless you decide to be a turncoat and leave. |

Indeed. The forums are fine. The drama isn't. It is too extensive, and is causing corruption about the site. It is like rabbits. You have two. Those two make four. Then those four soon become eight, then sixteen, then so-on-so-forth.
I feel sorry for those who have so much drama, but I can say only but one thing. Seek help. As much as I myself love to hear people's issues and help them out as much as I can, only professional help can do the true job.
I say as well that Digibutter isn't what it used to be, but that is only because what used to be has grown up. Change is inevitable, as is life. |

At least it's better than a few weeks ago. It's like a soap opera on a screen. I could sell this stuff to soap opera companies and have them make fortunes! People just don't realize that they're not the only ones with problems. Why can't they just keep it inside myself like I do? Why do they have to act all drama-like? I have TONS of stress on me, and I don't display it outwards. Why can't people do the same? |

Yes, there are issues to be resolved, and it's good that they can be seen.
Although...
This is a forum full of teenagers. A FORUM full of TEENAGERS, there is going to be drama. Luckily, blogs are around now, so a lot of the drama is being siphoned into there.
Some people just like to give the new members a hard time. I've noticed this as well, no one wants to give anyone a chance after one mistake. Then again, a lot of new members haven't really been... well... "up to par." In any case, people should probably try to help them correct their mistakes every once and a while, instead of flaming them for the mistakes...
With the issues addressed, now all we have to do is make an attempt to fix them, after all, a community where no one gets along is no community that will last. In other words... compromises have to be made.

Hell, look at high school and middle school. Drama everywhere. It's not falling apart. People have things happen and they express it. Its just natrual. All forums do this. It's like touching a fire and going "IT'S TOO HOT! Fires arn't gunna exist anymore..." |

The forum itself is falling apart only insofar as the users who are controlling and shaping it are. As the last holds are blown away by teenager and the rulelessness of the internet, people let their jerk out.
It is said that oyu can make even a turd shine if you polish it enough. Digibutter was once a sparkling little light house in a digital sea of spam and idiocity. Now the sparkle has been replacing with tankerloads of shit.
For a more expanded opinion, see my "So long, suckers" thread in the "I'm leaving" forum. I just have to finish typing. |

Nagging persistently, discussing with other how to make it better, not spamming myself, thinking about strategies and systems to award good post quality, thinking about how to failsafe those systems, or, to make it shorter, nothing short of applying / begging for modship or grinding the report button, because whilst I love this forum, it's not worth being flamed all too often.
Deliver the stick line. I dare you. |

Have you looked at some of our... new assets ? And ye olde Aure of Increased Grammar and Spelling Study has ceased to work, too... Previously, the sheer abundance of good grammar and spelling, plus intelligent discussion, (alright, not that, but at least attempt to that and much less fads) actively bullied newbies into at least bothering to spellcheck. Today, it goes unnoticed if they do it or not. |
