The wonderful pioneers of justice working in the background. Always watching, dipping their hands into everyone's business for the sake of what is right.
As you may have noticed. Some shit went down yesterday. All orchestrated by me.
From my intentional jailing to all of the topics that were a result of it, everything was to prove that the current moderators are corrupt.
They support "fads" because the majority is always more important than the minority to them. As long as everyone is doing, it doesn't really seem to matter what anyone else thinks. Even if it would normally be considered spam.
All of the mods change the rules from member to member. Instead of acting like an undaunting and well oiled machine, they constantly change punishments and what may or may not constitute a flame or spam just because of who the person is. If any of you would like to refute this, I have more than enough proof to back up my claims.
A lot of the mods have tried to quit or have admitted to the fact that they hate their job. This is not model behavior for what should be our best members. How can anyone show respect for one when one does not respect themselves?
As well as all this, the rule list is incomplete and have ceased being worked on. It mentions nothing of items or any of the other features unique to Digibutter. It seems as though it was merely copy/pasted from another forum. This blame falls mostly on Lord Crump though, as aside from Francis he is the only one that can edit the rule list.
All of the mods fall into at least one of these categories, and if you would like to refute these claims then please, try me. I gathered more than enough proof through example last night than I will ever need to proove each and everyone of these claims as 100% true.
Have at you then! |

The mods favor some members, and dislike others.
For example... if I were to post a topic called "smurf sandwich," it'd be deleted, locked, and I would be stricken. If one of the more popular members, say MsDevin, were to post it... they won't lock it unless it gets flames. And otherwise, they won't strike MsDevin for it, they'll move the topic into to hidden DUMP area and pretend it never happened. |

Did you, like, completely forget that conversation last night? About the suggestion thread that no one ever uses, and how we need more member suggestions (Only a couple of people have actually put alot of effort into PM'ing me suggestions for the rule list.) because we can't possibly think of everything? Well, I guess this is your way of pretending the suggestion thread isn't there so that you can have a reason to blame us for the lack of progress on the rules. |

There is spam everywhere that the mods choose to neglect, yet I'm here in "ENEMY OF DIGIBUTTER" land, and so everything I post is looked at for about 5 minutes by a mod as they hover their mouse over the "STRIKE" button |

But as the members it is not our duty to come up with the rules.
You started this project Crump, is it my fault that it is flawed? I'm not a mod. I'm in no position to say what should and shouldn't be a rule. |

But weren't you coming up with rules when you complained about search lights the other night, and item usage in this very thread? Sure, what the members say isn't final; that's why you point out flaws and make suggestions for us to approve and improve.

I started it with the intent of it being a team effort; it's not my fault others were not as passionate about the idea as I was (I wish they were, and that can always change for the better). You don't have to be a mod to suggest changes for the site. If that was the case, we wouldn't have a Feedback forum.

Because there's a factor called tolerance in effect. If the most disruptive person on the site did something, we're already fed up with said person who holds a bad track record. If someone with a completely clean record does something, we might be a bit more lenient, because there's some subconcious thing that tells you 'The person who's doing it isn't bad, so it isn't as bad.' It'll happen to anybody.
And, I don't think "Corrupt" would be the way to describe the moderating team. Sure, it isn't perfect, but we're seriously understaffed and, I'll admit; We're not the best mods in the world. But we're not the worst, and there are certainly members floating around, willing to become moderators and they'd do much better jobs than some of us.
I think Lord Crump's basically a role model for modship right now, so if you're going to criticize anyone, do it to me. |

Cookie'd. I've been thinking the exact same thing forever now. We do need new mods. We need strict, mean mods that don't care who you are one way or the other. If your breaking the rules, you're breaking the rules. It's as simple as that. |

Personally, I think any mod team that supports posting topics in the wrong forum needs some serious reevaluation. |

People like you are what make our mod team look like utter crap.
You have to validate everything you do with some silly excuse like "they're not REALLY bad people!" Breaking the rules is BREAKING the RULES. Perhaps, if you don't want the punishments to be so strict for those few, "good" people, then you should make the punishments less for EVERYONE.
If a man is tried for theft, it doesn't matter if this is his first crime, or if he is a known murderer... he is given the same punishment either way.
And besides that fact, you fools lack so much confidence. Every time you post about your moderator status, it's something along the lines of "we're trying, guys, please don't insult us, it makes us sad "
At what point will you stop TRYING, at what point will you stop being MEDIOCRE, at what point will you stop being FOOLS and do your jobs to the best of your ability, regardless of what you believe is the limit of your abilities? |
