A character in a fighting game is only good when you're personally good with them, so unless you plan on using him for a while and developing a playing style to make Olimar good for you, I'd personally say no. |

As I said, try him out for yourself.
He's pretty easy to learn, but he lacks a wide range of good knock out moves, so he's a good character IMO. |

I was surprised that the first time I played as Olimar I totally owned! I practiced alot and got better,so I'm pretty damn good with him. He is a unique(and unexpected)edition to the smash series and has really good moves. Probley is biggest downfall is that without at least three Pikmin with you,recovering might be a problem and he needs Pikmin for most of his moves. Other then that,he is amazing,IMO.
As for Toon Link,I don't really use him,but he is a great character and his dair is very good for racking up your opponents damage. If you like somewhat fast characters good with combos,he might be good for you. |

Who? TL or Olimar? I don't think ether are really like her. Just play the game and see for yourself. |
