Digibutter is a wonderful, wonderful site. People come here with their hopes, dreams, problems, and wishes, and everyone discusses them, most trying to either fufill or support them. It's this kind of close community I really love, and one of the few reasons I'm so addicted to digibutter as I am.

Unfortunately, due to the few that ruin the whole thing, rules have had to be enstated against Drama. It's really sad that the previous self-expression of digibutter, that beauty that I once cherished, may be gone. However, people have been taking this overboard, using the blogs as OT and GD were used before: to harm.

I propose a counseling group for digibutter, separate from the mods. I don't know how this would work, maybe we could have a usergroup for counselors, not really sure. But, some of our members need help sometimes, and I want the ones who really care about those members, who with all in their hearts just want to give aid to that member, to have the opportunity to help.

This could go hand-in-hand with the moderating system. If someone is acting with strange behaviors, a mod could notify the group and ask them to help. Thus, in this way, favoritism could be limited and possibly eliminated in the future.

Digibutter is a beautiful site. Please, I don't really want to see its closeness and the bonds I've created with it go down in flames. Please, for the sake of the future, help me make digibutter digibetter.

Not tomorrow, today. Right now. When you have full control of your actions. There is no doubt now, that's the future. There is no reflection now, that's the past. This is the present, so help me make it into the gift it is. Help me create counseling on digibutter.nerr!

Oh, yes, let's implement into a wonderful site a system that will only cause members to hate eachother and themselves.

If you're someone with a college degree, and you've known the person for a very long time, I can understand if you tell them what to do... but otherwise, it's the BLIND leading the BLIND.

THE BLIND CAN NOT LEAD THE BLIND.

Enough with these senseless suggestions.

I'm going to have to agree with Rawrskey on this one. Uncertified help is dangerous.

Unfortunately, this is not senseless. It's using passion and heart. I'm not trying to create more hatred. I'm trying to isolate every problem and work with it. Peers are far more influential on each other than some old man in a chair, I can tell you that from experience. XD

So your saying that we NEED drama?
Drama causes problems, and thats why theres a rule against drama. It causes flames, sadness, hatred, and causes people to leave. And it just ruins a forum.
This forum was about VIDEO GAMES and FUN, not some drama bullshit.
It is US that causes drama, and mostly likely OT also.
People hate drama, thats why drama is against the rules. If you want drama, go watch some drama shows.
What YOUR doing now is causing drama, because this kind of topic is considered drama, and it WILL be locked.

Do you not read? Are you, in fact, partially blind?

This would be the blind leading the blind. Find me one person on this site that is capable of counseling any other person on this site. Find me ONE PERSON.

I mean sure, we can give simple advice to people... or ask really nicely for them to put that knife down... but nobody here knows what the hell they're doing beyond that. It's the BLIND leading the BLIND.

The reason people came to hate the drama is because they were all sick of getting on every day to see "I'm useless, I'm gonna kill myself now :<" topics.

I don't mind seeing someone talking about their problems occasionally, hell, Digibutter was alright when people occasionally talked about them. The thing that threw it overboard was when everyone was claiming that every little dilemma they went through is a good excuse to kill themselves, or effectively proves they are nothing more (or will amount to) than a useless bag of shit. On top of that, you had incidents like Fireice's 'being a lesbian despite being a boy' that made people doubt the credibility of alot of this drama. People overdid it, and that's all there is to say.

bwgmon is one of the few voices of reason left on this site. Everyone else seems to not know where they're going, and so just blindly follow their favorite member right into fad land.

We need to figure out who knows what's going on, and then ask those people for honest, USEFUL advice, then follow it.

Yes, I read what you said. Sadly, people are taking what I'm saying the wrong way. Also unfortunately, my overall track record for dealing with drama is amazing, so...yeah. Guess I'm just a big-headed biggot in this instance, so yeah, I am partially blind. ^^

Really, though, all I wanted was a simple concept: a dream of members helping other members through techniques, relating personal experience to personal experience, and overall growing stronger. It's been driven far out of control by both myself and everyone who posted in this topic with the exception of O'Chunks. So I'm sorry.

Also, why are you so lock-happy, SSG? XD

And then afterwords are we all gonna sit around a campfire and light up a doobie to get significant visions that change our lives forever? Are we gonna get in touch with nature and eachother, and become one body?

Though I understand your sarcasm, I'm all up for that if someone else is.

You really are blind, then. Whatever happened to being able to see the world in a practical, logical way that doesn't involve hippie-esque ideals?

Look, many members leave because of drama and pretty much topics like this one.
Just stop it, your causing more drama. Remember what Twytch said about you?

...I'm blind to seeing what I'm doing wrong. I'm making a suggestion to Francis using unrealistic, yet desirable, ideals that'll never be achieved, yet can be used as a goal to create a better site. I'm isolating drama by helping members in a way that improves the members' behavior, instead of just making them more frusterated with a lock.

And I didn't take Twytch that seriously since he never told me how I could improve on my faults, as well as a few of his points not being true. So...if he still wants to help me, I'm okay with that. ^^

I hate to say this, but I agree with Rawrskey. We can't just get a bunch of random people from the Internet solving problems that could have to do with the REAL world.
