How about you guys TAKE YOUR PROBLEMS INTO YOUR OWN HANDS?

Face it, the mods can't solve all of your problems. If there's a fad going on in OT that you don't like, simply:

A) Ignore the fad
B) Get off Digibutter and let the fad blow over
or C) Leave.

Seriously. Most of you people sound like you can't stand the site anymore. If it's causing you to rot from the inside of your very being out, then just leave if you think the site is going to hell. In the end, it's up to Francis to decide who the mods are, and if you think about it, does it really MATTER who the mods are, or who you think would do the best? There are certain qualities the mods have that means that they CAN be mods, and you can't simply jump on every little error they make. One factor in modship is PRESSURE, and if all of you keep on blaming the mods for everything, saying they don't do their job, etc., it creates pressure on the mods, and they won't do their job as they should, because of YOU GUYS. Maybe if you guys didn't blindly follow the "awesome" people, such as Popple and rawrskey, then this wouldn't have happened. Was ANYONE complaining about the mods before Popple or rawrskey blatantly INSULTED them? No! No one cared AT ALL! No one had any issues with the mods! But now, since Popple decided to go all apeshit, due to his large fan base consisting of all the members ever, EVERYONE wants the staff demodded. Look at yourselves. THINK for yourselves. Do you honestly think any other members would do a better job as mods? Would you rather have a lenient mod that allows fads, or a strict mod that allows no one to have any fun? Maybe we just need another Dump, is that it? A place to go TOTALLY apeshit with no rules? Sadly, that will not be able to exist unless Popple or rawrskey want one, right?

EDIT: Also, as if it wasn't obvious before, the mods are clearly understaffed. Plastic has said this multiple times, and hell, there was a topic on it in Feedback with most of you, if not all of you, agreeing with it. Of course we need more moderators on the team as of late.

You bring a good point Hario, maybe we could make a hidden forum for mods to reileve stress at and ask fo advice so there not as miserable and sad about doing there jobs.

I fight for my friends. Equality. I want the improvement of the site. It doesn't sicken me, I just like to see things work efficiently. I don't want to give up on this site. I want it to prosper. Above all else. I don't want the moderation team removed, I want them to work, And I want them to work with a standard. We need more moderate mods.

Pressure is the hardest part of the job. I think that is what made me snap and have to take a vacation. Every time I made a decision, it would turn out to be completely wrong. Every time you strike someone they're like "HOW WAS THAT STRIKEABLE?! YOU SHOULD BE DEMODDED!!!"

I feel like there is little respect towards mods, every time one punishes someone, they are accused of being unfair. People don't understand this, and it is that that makes me angry.

Mods are people to, we're not anti-crime robots, we are human, we make mistakes and we see everything from a different standpoint.

Another thing is that people are always saying things like:

"Mods don't do their jobs, I see way too many flames being ignored!"

Again, we are humans, we have lives. We can't moderate EVERY post. If you see a flame that does not have a "Quality: -1", then it was missed. Report it, honestly.

The way see it, it's not the member's problems at all. The mods are too afraid to strike people because their popularity and AWSUMness levels go down. You guys need to be way more strict. Don't be afraid to give strikes. Do it, and ignore what other people think. As long as you're satistfied with what you've done by the end of the day, people will begin to think you're more confident and your popularity will rise again.

The mods don't get respect because they refuse to weild their power. If you actually striked topics that actually deserved them and left one's alone that didn't then you would be hailed as gods. That is why you need an actual rule list that *crag* works, but it seems like Crump and I were the only mods that ever cared, except for maybe CD but she doesn't come on anymore.

Hario is overdoing it a little bit, but I do have to agree somewhat.

Do you want the mods to be more strict? *crag* it. It's been done before, and it was a disaster big time. Not to mention POPPLE WAS ONE WHO GOT HATED FOR GETTING MORE STRICT.

Were you unfairly striken? Get over it, you're probably self-biased. Was a rulebreaker who did the same thing not striken? Report them and be happy.

Though Popple isn't THAT popular, and rawrskey is no more popular than the sorts of MALAK for staying benned for so long, Hario still has a point. The mods are understaffed, they can't handle all the shit by themselves, because too many people are making too many shit and NOBODY REPORTS IT. I report every kind of rulebreak I see, though I sometimes let go of it unintentionally because I'm not a God nor a mod, and I don't go around many areas on the forums. And the more you whine, complain and say you need new staffers, THE CRAPPIER THE SERVICE AROUND HERE WILL BE.

So, basically...

THE MORE YOU COMPLAIN, THE WORST IT GETS. HOW'S IT WORTH COMPLAINING?
