wasn't Halo made by a third-person company? Last I checked it was.
Anywho, I hate Microsoft in the gaming industry. Why? I see the original XBOX as a modded fat PS2 with a DVD player. They're as good as ripoff artists. The only good thing they've made, IMO, is Windows. |

Sony because there main focus just seems to be "Hey lets make our games LOOK good so people will buy them"! And that seems to make me sick that people will go for anything just because it looks good and not because it's actually fun. |

Stupid how? Because you don't like them?
The PS3 is currently $400, which is only $50 more than the Xbox 360. Considering that hardware-wise it is the best console out right now, that's not overpriced at all.
So they don't like their competition. You don't see Pepsi going "Coca-Cola is the greatest drink ever!" either.

Sony. Something about them just rubs me the wrong way...
I guess it's because they have all of the potential in the world, and just waste it. Also because they copy Nintendo, or at least meet it halfway and then go off with their own crap. Seriously, analog control (PS1) and motion control (PS3)...that really grinds my gears. Plus, they just let good series go to waste, like Crash and Spyro, in favor of things with better graphics and a more "professional" look. Also, they make very few first-party games, if any at all. Sony just feels like a 3rd-party system, and I don't really like that.
However, I will say that the Playstations all have awesome games and RPG's. I have nothing against the games or the game makers, just Sony. |

Actually, I wouldn't mind good graphics. If gameplay was a main concern, good graphics to go with them would be nice.
The problem with alot of the games is the fact that almost everything is a shade of grey or brown, which leads my eyes to wish they were bleeding. Too many games have this problem, and not just on the PS3. T_T |
Actually, I have the same problem. That is one of the reasons that I don't like certain metroid games. |

Nintendo. The only games that don't suck are the ones that we've known for the longest. Mario, LoZ, Samus, etc...They can't come up with any new ideas  |

Eh, I'm going to get some hate for this, but it's better to be honest with my opinion. Nintendo. The company isn't what it used to be; the games appearing on it aren't furthering the concept of videogames as an art form at all, but instead, having a bunch of casual crap pile up on the console- as far as I can see it, the idea that games are simple "toys" is being strengthened by the Wii's non-gamer focus. I thought that the Wii was going to be a Revolution; it turned out that my prediction was false. Hopefully Nintendo will turn around and release more games oriented for "true" gamers, and hopefully third parties will stop releasing all this shovelware; I believe I heard that there is going to be some "core games" demonstrated at the upcoming E3. Hopefully this isn't a lie, as I love Nintendo's classic franchises. I hate the overwhelming amount of casual junk, though, and I hate how Nintendo hasn't released many new gamer-oriented franchises. |

You call the original Super Mario Bros casual? I mean, sure, everybody has played it, but how many have actually beaten it? Completing an entire Mario platform game is something I never did until Super Mario 64, and even then, I have yet to play through SMB1-3 all the way through, same for SMW1-2.
The reason Nintendo is being called "Casual" is because of how rediculously easy SMG, TP, and most of the other mainstream games have become just because it has to be playable by the wider audiance.
Smash Bros and Metroid Prime 3 are exceptions because they have a difficulty option, which actually does add a decent field for hardcore gamers. |
