So recently, I read through my old posts and I finally found out what made the old digibutter more epic. lol! lol! lol!
So what made it epic? Here:

1. The members: Back then we had awesome members who knew when to be funny and when to be serious. No, it wasn't in characterness that made us epic. Not EVERYONE was in-character, but at least nobody spammed or flamed or anything bad. We all just followed the rules. We had good times like when Yoshiangemon posted the nude pic of Mimi, or when everyone started to like Mimi!!!, or when Lord Bowser posted that opinion thread which had his opinion on every single members on this forum. Now they left and what do we have now? Emos who posts drama, flamers who can't keep up with the drama anymore so they start a flamewar, and asses who hates the mods just because they aren't doing their job. Back then we didn't have mods but guess what? When spammers joined, Francis HAD to recruit mods. And so he did. Everyone was happy.
Now people are complaining because we HAVE mods. What the hell? I don't know what happened but be thankful that the site has become much more safer thanks to mods.
The day I joined everyone was really nice to one another, and nobody ignored others because everyone treated everyone the way they wanted to be treated.
And now, some people gets to be treated like shit for no reason. Why? Its because some of you morons are BIASED.
Face it, its true. A CERTAIN SOMEBODY talks everyone else on chat but ignores this one other person. THAT IS BIASED. You ignore one person when that person was trying to talk to you and when someone posted garbage on chat, you freakin' replied to that garbage, completely ignoring that other person. Seriously what the hell? Whatever happened to treat everyone the way you wanted to be treated? Do you asses care about popularity only? Do you people only post in the "popular" topic because it was made by a "popular" person so you could be popular yourself and leaving the others in dust? How would YOU feel if everyone ignored you? Is that the way you want to be treated? Certainly not, so treat others the way you want to be treated.
Seriously, digibutter has become more like school. The popular group and the nobody group and the newbie group.
Back then even the newbies were treated equally like everyone else, EVEN FRANCIS.
Nowadays people post spam, mostly in OT. Back then people posted interesting polls like "Your favorite game?" or "Favorite _______" in General Discussion. There were no spam, and we STILL had fun. One thing I liked about digi back then was when Lord Bowser posted that "Your Mama Joke topic" where we had to post our own ur mama jokes. It was pretty darn successful. Maybe I should bring that back?
Now theres drama everywhere. We never had something CLOSE to drama before. I'm going to guess that Francis made blogs SO WE CAN KEEP THE DAMN DRAMA THERE. Well not extreme drama, but you get what I'm saying.
MsDevin, whenever your depressed, KEEP IT TO YOURSELF! I swear everyone loves you so much when you attempt suicide, a drama starts. KEEP YOUR DEPRESSION TO YOURSELF. NOT EVERYONE WOULD CARE. I'm sure your mother would be a hell of a lot of more help than any of us here, SO TELL YOUR MOTHER ABOUT IT. Your only going to be even more hated by some members here if you continue this.
As for those others who starts drama (You KNOW who you are) Shut it. Keep it to yourself. I don't want drama in ma digibuttz and neither does Francis.
Hell, this supports my idea of deleting every drama related topics in the future. CNTRL ALT DLT WITHOUT QUESTION LOLOLOL.
Now I'm not saying we shouldn't post drama, but we should keep them at a low level.
Probably an exception would have to be MsDevin, because no mater what the level of the drama is, drama starts. ALWAYS.
As for you Mr. I, if you come here and post saying "But we NEED drama", read this whole wall of text again.
The bottom line for this? Treat everyone the way you want to be treated THIS INCLUDES ANY NEWBIES THAT WILL JOIN DIGIBUTTER IN THE FUTURE. Hell, if someone not "popular" or active or someone new posts a new topic in OT or something, post in it and say something funny or of some sort. Thats what a lot of people did back then when I was new. I posted shitloads of topics back then and a lot of people posted, saying something funny while it related to the topic.
If someone is depressed and post about it in blogs, post in it to make that person feel better, no matter who it is. I swear if I see two blogs of the same thing in blogs and one gets more replies than the others, it tells me that you are all just stupid and didn't bother to read this.
Treat everyone the way you want to be treated, everyone. Even me. Even a newbie.
Keep the drama at a low level in blogs only.
Don't kill OT. The purpose of OT was to have fun, like we did back then. Don't post spam, post something like a poll that wouldn't fit in GD. Or post the ITT jokes topic. Or rate my sig/avatar topic. ANYTHING THATS NOT SPAM OR DRAMA.

2. What made digibutter epic number 2? I basically said it up there but I'm going to say it again. Quit spamming/flaming. Make interesting topics like the examples I posted up there. Quit spamming OT with a topic that really doesn't have any purpose. I've seen several topics like that and theres been a lot of replies. I WONDER WHY?

You guys said we wanted to bring back the old digibutter right? Well ladies and gentlemen, All that crap I posted now are comparisons of now and before.
Think about what I said for a second. And then consider it and stop spamming, stop being so dramatic, and I have a favor for you all.
Read Francis' old posts, say like his first one. Now read my old posts, and see the diferences. Now read all the yesterday's drama topics in OT. Compare that.
See the difference? Which of the three do you want back? The really old days, my good ol' days, or the drama?

Now some of you will hate me for this. Thats fine, but before you hate me, don't just hate me, at least give me a reason why you hate me, or else I WILL BE DEPRESSED. Yeah...I get depressed too, and I kinda am now because I have a feeling someone hates me for like, no reason/didnt tell me reason and I'm just...sad about it.
But its not like I bring the drama to digi right? lol!

Well, as you said, I read the entire wall of text twice. And you know what I did? I broke out laughing.

Especially on the part that you specifically addressed that I would think that we NEEDED drama. Would you kindly explain the evils I've done to make you all think that I thrive off of your pain? As true as that is, really, I never stated that drama was a necessary part of a forum. I stated it was necessary in human behavior, and I suggested that we isolate it so that it can be tamed, but I never stated that we have a forum that was once devoted to a game of pure joy and true love be overrun by teenagers with mental disorders ranting about their problems. So please, explain to me why you all hate me for that reason.

In all honesty, I believe I'm going mentally insane. My twisted views of the world and society have brought pain and suffering to all, and my sick sense of humor doesn't really help. But, that isn't the point of this conversation, is it? No...that's just something to rationalize what I said before about laughing out loud. This whole paragraph is useless and shouldn't be here, but it is. Oh well, another thing I did wrong. ^^

But, the reason I laughed out loud was because everything you said was true. And it was so pathetic how this site has deteriorated from the original Super Paper Mario model that I just HAD to laugh. I mean, really, it's hilarious how far we've come in the wrong direction! How we've seemlessly slipped through a huge saftey net that would contain the "nerr" spirit of old, of discussing video games and crude jokes, and become infected with spamming blood in our veins. We developed our own societies from a singular one of equality, we've evolved. And that evolution has caused a downfall that has been toxic to the health of digibutter.

But you know? I have to thank you, shake your hand happily, SSG. You've done what I've been trying and failing to do for months: you've made us all realize the point of member responsibility. I don't know, I guess you're just an awesome person with tons of charisma and a really likeable, unbiased platform, but you've done it. You've fully expressed that it's up to each and every member to stop pointing fingers at each other, to stop focusing on stuff like drama and spam, and focus on fun.

And if I was a jerkass and inspired you to write any of this, even a single word, then I can rest easy.

So thank you, thank you SSG for being you, for bringing light into this desolate lair, for giving everyone the true meaning to their weakness. I shake you warmly by the hand and enjoy re-reading your rant once again.

But Mr. I, sorry for misunderstanding you. I never hated you. You were my favorite mod back then when you were a mod. I know you want peace, I don't know why I posted that part about you, honest. I dont' hate you. I dont' hate anybody. I am just sick of whats currently going on. And usually I don't rant, but I had to, HAD TO.

It's alright, ranting's a good release of anger. You've done something truly inspirational, giving...what appears to be over an hour of effort into improving the site. I agree with that wall of text 100%. I miss the old days, and I know we may never get back to our full glory, but we can get as close as we can, can't we? There's so many things we can do to make digibutter a better place, but instead of doing something, we either keep making it worse, whine about it, or do nothing.

I usually just kind of sit around and let other people work on it, but from this point on, I'm gonna try and help out in any way I can. :3

The big deal is, MOST THE DRAMAMONGERS, FLAMERS AND SPAMMERS DON'T KNOW WHO THEY ARE.

Once we stand up and say it on the face of the people that they are dramafags, flamers, spammers... That's when we can actually get off the zero progress. Heck, some of the most obvious dramamongers/flamers/spammers don't realize that they're being what they are being.

As for the hierarchy, I've seen very well visible cases of it. Both Crazy Cody and Luigi Mario posted topics in GD about how they were having trouble (Digiblogger didn't exist back then). Now just guess who got the most replies and who got prooflessly and mercilessly called an attn whore. It's so *crag* obvious. I would be more welcoming of newbies too, but sadly, I don't even bother checking Intros anymore. Too many people going IMMA LEEV DIGI when I know that it won't be long until they are back. Even if they deactivate their accounts, they end up back somehow.

Lastly, I have a fun topic in OT. Some of you, specially Mister I, know the Detective Game very well. But it's being a real bother to keep it bumped and with enough people to play. Why? Because it takes a lot of organisation, and because of that, it just can't compete with all the SPAM in OT. I have tried a lot of advertising, but I still need a few more players and I've got nobody to advertise it for. So am I doing my part?
