I got it for the free weekend, but it never loads.
It'll be at the "You're on your way to..." screen, with the loader, and it'll sit there for over half an hour before it goes to the character select screen. And half the time, it doesn't even make it there before I have to CTRL+ALT+DELETE and end the game that way.
It's not like my computer can;t handle the game. I have a GeForce 8500 in there... It's more than enough to run the game perfectly. And I have dual core processors and 2 gigs of RAM. Should be able to easily handle the game.
I don't get why this game is SO SLOW...
Counter Strike: Source runs flawlessly for the most part... |

It also takes forever to load for me. Not sure I want to buy the game anymore because its so frustrating. Once I actually get into a game it's fine, except for a few pauses here and there. But when the next level loads, I have to wait forever again. |

I couldn't, the screen never loaded to the point that I could click continue.
Oh, and I'm thinking the same as Francis. The game takes too long to load in between games...
I REALLY want it, but if it's going to act this shitty for me, it's not worth the anger... |
