The second generation had Sneasel, Entei, Raikou, Misdreavus, Tyranitar, Typhlosion, Houndoom. Win.
Also, Gold n' Silver had a far more interesting region than that of Kanto; what with all the ancient ruins n' mystical junk. The 2nd generation was the height of quality in the Pokemon series; after that, it became stale. |

Second for me, even though 4th had Darkrai, 2nd was 9001 times better.
However, 3rd is so bad, I just wan it to go away.
2nd>1st/4th>(OVER 9000 >'s)>3rd. |

I like the original 151 the best, but I also like some of the 2nd-4th gen pokemon. The 5th gen is gonna suck for sure, I bet. |

This, chu. Although, I guess second ties for me because of Umbreon(lolinb4simsmagic) Celebi, Lugia, Skarmory, and the fact that G/S/C included the Kanto region. 3rd and 4th just plain suck IMO. |

Tough tie between 2nd and 3rd. The first ones lack lots of features in comparison to the newer ones, and the fourth gen lacks the Pokemon "feel" to it. |

Overall a great improvement over the first gen.
In my opinion, the only good things to come out of the third gen were the starters, and the good things from the fourth gen were the legendaries.

second gen is my favorite because it has most of my favorites.sceptile,mudkip,flygon,salamence,kyogre,groudon,rayquaza,and deoxys.and im waiting for the fifth one. |
