Anyways, I think the more we find out about the brain, the closer we get to screwing the whole human race over, just like with advancement in technology.

He's just got that manner of speaking that says "I am superior to you, but choose not to express it."
He's making me angry by existing. Very few people can do that. He has accomplished a very rare thing. |

I never did say I was "supernatural", nor do I believe in such filth. If you are angry by my statement, then how unfortunate. I can, however, prove that what I have said has nothing to do with the supernatural.
As for me believing I am superior to you, this is yet to be proven. Therefor, all I can say is...maybe...
As for delving into your sub-conscious, that is impossible. If you were able to reach such a feat, it would no longer be your "Sub" Conscious. Rather, it would be the same as your normal mentality. However, it is fact meditating can help, "relax" your mind. In relaxing your mind, your sub-conscious can focus more clearly on problems at hand. It's basically a form of "organizing your mind", so to speak.
When it comes to a "6th sense", this also can be proven "natural". It is merely your Sub-Conscious noticing things that you don't normally look out for. For instance, what might be called "The Voice in your head" is merely a figment of your Sub-Conscious. When something you know is challenged by something you want, usually that voice comes to you. No matter what you say, that voice will always come. However, there are those who claim to have no "conscious". This is a lie. We all have one. However, there is a saying, "When something is said repeatedly, it begins to lose it's meaning." This is true for the "good and evil figures on your shoulder." Those who claim to not posses such figures merely have ignored their Sub-Conscious for long enough periods of time. So much so that their "conscious" has no meaning to them now, and they act on impulse, like animals. In a sense, your Sub-Conscious is one of the few things that separate us from becoming disgusting, filth-ridden neanderthals.
Now, the "6th sense" is merely this voice calling out to you, saying that something is amiss.
Your Sub-Conscious is like a storage room of your experiences. Unless you suffer from a mental disease like Dementia, you will never lose past experiences. They will always be stored away in your Sub-Conscious. When you get this "feeling" that someone is their, or something is wrong, usually it's because something has changed. When another person enters a room, the air temperature, however insignificantly it may be, will change. Same with the weight of air. Though your normal state of mind would never recall this, your Sub-Conscious will record everything it sees. Therefor, it tells you something is different, and that you should investigate. So you turn around, and their is your friend standing behind you, glancing over your shoulder at whatever you were doing. This is just one of many different situations.
This is also why people who have been in horrible situations can sometimes recall a kidnappers appearance perfectly when they only looked upon their features for an instant, or they can't seem to recall a house with their loved ones becoming consumed in flames. Your Sub-Conscious knows what may cause you to lose touch with reality, and what is imperative you know in the moment. In another sense, your Sub-Conscious is like a parent, watching out for you.
Now, seeing the future. Anyone who claims they can see the future is a nutcase. You cannot. However, there is such a thing as "swearing you saw something in a dream." Usually this hapens when a problem has occured. why? It is simple.
Your mind never stops working. If it did, you would die. In fact, it is your Sub-Conscious that is keeping you alive right now. There is no way we could survive without it, less you wish to live every second having to think the actions of breathing and moving in you conscious mind. When you sleep, your conscious mind rests, but your Sub-Conscious does not. In fact, your Sub-Conscious is the very reason you wake up. It comes to the conclusion that light = daytime, and there for, light = wake up time. Same thing with an alarm clock. Without your Sub-Conscious, you would never wake up. You wouldn't be able to connect the dots with your Conscious mind asleep.
Now, about the future. When you are asleep, your Sub-Conscious will sort through things in your life. Your dreams are merely the by-product of your Sub-Conscious working hard throughout the night. Now, what might be called "Deja Vu'" is merely your mind working out a problem. What you see in your dream is merely what your mind believes has the highest percentage of success, or happening. It's basically your mind guessing, and then it's guess coming true. So, it's not truly seeing the future.
And last, but certainly not least, your emotions. It is, in fact, possible to control your emotions. Your emotions are , in all actuality, how you respond to certain situations. Now, your Sub-Conscious will mold how you respond to certain situations based off of pervious experiences. However, this does not mean that you still do not know how you SHOULD act. For instance, what if your previous experiences tell you to hit someone when they defy you? Well, this is what your Sub-Conscious is telling you. However, we know you should not hit someone, and so your conscious mind prevents you from doing so. Later, you fell that you should have hit the person, due to the fact that that is what you Sub-Conscious wanted you to do.
In my case, I have simply learned that displaying emotions only hurts myself, and therefor, I have lost almost all sense of emotion.
If any of this is confusing, or has left things unanswered, please inform me, and I shall elaborate. |

Indeed. I say this with calm and likeable notation, that I do not claim myself superior to anyone or anything. I myself am but a simple speck on the face of the universe. And which that you dubbed "supernatural", I did not. The topic of which just aroused by someone else who mentioned such.
My capabilities are meerly what The Chaos Heart posted above about the meditations and emotional controlling. I myself do not fully understand my partake in the fashion of feeling others emotions, but that is mostly because of how compassionate I am for other people that are in pain or trouble. |
