M'kay.
I was thinking, if you're about to necropost, it'd come up with a message that reads 'Are you sure you want to post in this old topic? You will lose 2 coins and 200 score if you do.' Then choose yes if you're trying to bump the topic or something, or no if it's an accident. Since there's been more than a few cases where people are linked to a topic and post in it without noticing the date.
As for double posting, same thing. 'Are you sure you want to double post? You will lose 1 coin and 100 score if you do.' Maybe include, besides yes or no, a link to edit the previous post. This is mostly for the people who hit 'submit' more than once when it lags, since the choice thing would only let one through.
Yes/No/Maybe/Waffles?
