Charging for online gaming isn't that bad considering it's fairly cheap and it has the best online setup of this generation. Trust me, it's worth that $25 per 3 months. And Rare is *crag* awesome. |

That's still cheaper than most pay-to-play MMO's. |

The only way it would maybe cost more than an MMO is if you actually pay for XBL monthly, which is a dumb move in the first place. It's like buying a magazine monthly for $4 an issue when you can get a year-long subscription for $20. |

If Wii Play and Wii Sports are big titles for the Wii, then yes, it is a casual console.

And the game came out months after Mario Galaxy, which came out couple of months after Metroid Prime: Corruption, which came out months after Twilight Princess.

Of course not. But they aren't meant to be all "I'm going to weigh myself and burn some calories with the family" either.

Nah, they weren't. You had alot more long, in-depth games and you had alot more epics on previous Nintendo consoles than you have on the Wii, where below five of the titles can be considered "lengthy epics." Wii Play, Wii Sports, Wii Fit, Wii <Insert generic title here>, Link's Crossbow Training, and all those other casual, party, and shovelware games that are appearing on the system are not exactly Mass Effects, Final Fantasies, Bioshocks, or GTAs. I'd think that a system that delivers meaty games like Mario, Zelda or Metroid only once in a long while isn't really worth the buyer's money when compared to the competition. : / |

I honestly cannot say that I hate any of them.
Nintendo needs to buckle down and make a good console, the Wii was epic for the first 6 months I had it, then it wore down and now I regret buying it. Both the Wii and the GC had/have shitty third-party titles and thats why they fail, they need to make it easier for developers to make games. They also need to widen their demographic. I credit them for their innovation, but sometimes, most of the time, it does more bad than good.
Microsoft by far has the best online system, but they need to make it free, the PS3 has free online if more people had a PS3 their online would be the best. They have a very well rounded console but they need to spice it up, the 360 is boring and plain, thats just how I see it. 100$ for a wireless adapter?! COME ON MAN. I'm surprised I don't have more to say about them...
Sony, this is the company that gets the most hate from people. I don't know why. Just look at the PS2, it still sells exceptionally well and its a last-gen console! Their online and wireless are free and it seems to me that they are focused on the future. Seriously WTF is with the fanboys why hate Sony, I myself think that Sony is great. The PS3 is now picking up steam, I want one, and I think will soon tie and then surpass the 360. I think its great that they are using their systems as multimedia, and incorporating outside technologies, like blutooth for the mics.
All of the fanboys on this site need to STFU. *looks at this topic* Seriously your annoying and arrogant. |
