I used a lv. 50 Golbat (you can catch those in the battle zone) and made it Mean Look Mespriit, so I could use all the Ultra Balls I wanted.

Okay, I think I should use it, but I'm still a little hesitant... I only get one Master Ball in the whole game (unless I trade for a Pokemon holding one in the GTS), so I wanna be sure I'm not wasting it.

I think you should take you chances and not use a Master Ball. After all, it's cool to brag "Hey! I caught my legendary pokemon in a pokeball!" If that matters. I caught a Kyogre in a pokeball after like a hour so use a Master Ball if you're that fustrated.

I overestimated it and used it when I caught it. (I had some... EXPERIENCES with Kyogre on sapphire)
