Yeah, I'm buying TWEWY today after my mom gets back, 'cause I have good results and all. But any other game you guys recommend? My parents will buy me FFIV DS (not from my wallet), so anything else you guys think I should get?
P.S. I own a PS2 and a DS |

Sell the PS2 and the DS, and burn TWEWY, go get an Xbox 360, buy Battlefield: Bad Company and play it.
Then you can consider yourself a gamer. Until then you're nothing but a japanophile who somehow happened upon a DS and a PS2. |

And don't you DARE call me a japanophile, 'cause I'm not. Sure I like anime, sure I like Japan's culture and geographical beauty, but that doesn't make me one. And I can call myself a gamer all right. having a 360 doesn't make youa a true gamer, 'cause the most successful video game companies are actually from JAPAN. And why the hell would I sell off my PS2 and DS? I have some of my all time favorites on those things! You're just an idiot. Just go and play your American games that are nothing more than mindless FPS's.

Seriously, HARDCORE gamers don't spend their entire life playing games where you draw cute little symbols all day. It's wonderful to have a game of "do pointless shit" every now and then, but I like a game with some actual substance to it... and an actual POINT. I also like games that I can be competitive in, which is why MULTIPLAYER is a key feature for me. I'm sorry that you were hit on the head with a brick and in turn hate the xbox 360, but do you really have to like the worst square enix game ever MADE? |

Y'know what, I'm real pissed off at you. just STFU and leave me to be. I'm a hardcore gamer. I've beaten RPG's in a matter of 15 hours or less. Now if that isn't hardcore, I dunno what is.I don't hate the 360, it's just that you'e a raging 360 fanboy. I like all the seventh-gen consoles, but hate their raging fanboys. And TWEWY is NOT the worst game Square has ever made. I'd actually have to say FFIII DS was the worst of the lot.So go ahead and pretend that you're firing a gun or whatever on your *crag* FPS's, cuase I don't give two bits worth about what you think anymore. The only RPG games worth playing are the ones where you control the storyline... like Fable. All others are total crap. Bad battle systems, lame grinding, finding people for your dumb-ass "PARTY."
RPG games aren't hardcore, at ALL. FPS games are pretty hardcore if it's a game with actual substance... a game where you actually have to STRATEGIZE. You can't just run in, guns blazing... you have to be sneaky, intelligent.
In RPG games, mostly it's just spamming one damn attack the WHOLE GAME, killing a thousand of the same monster to level up, and finding new weapons EXACTLY like the one you had before, but shinier and does SLIGHTLY MORE DAMAGE.
I don't even like traditional FPS games. Bad Company is one of the few "super realistic" FPS games I'm willing to play. Other than that, I play every kind of game... including RPG. My favorite game genre, however, is RTS... and if a good RTS with substance, and a good online community were to float into my hands right now, I'd say "goodbye" forever to every person on earth except for those who would play said game with me... and of course, Francine. |

If you want my HONEST suggestion, I think you should buy Galaxy Wars: DS.
Unless you have something against arcade-style shooting games as you do FPS games. |

It's about time you got around to providing an actual suggestion. This overall thread has been rather childish. I believe the topic starter was asking for suggestions, not to have someone insert themselves up his Arse. Give the guy a break.
Anyway, I would recommend either Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, if you have friends with the title. Pretty good game. |
