The moderators are all terrible, stupid people when it comes to doing their jobs.
I suggest that the report button become a crucial part of the system. I demand that a post cannot be striked UNLESS IT IS REPORTED. I also demand that you finally get off your ass, Francis, and make an area of digibutter for members to get a FAIR TRIAL before their posting privileges are suspended.
I would have said the word court, but there is too much idiocy here for people to realize what a court really is. There are people who watch too many courtroom drama, or otherwise play too much Pheonix Wright. |

No, I just think our mods need to *crag* think before they act. They need to *crag* read an entire topic before striking one post. They need to *crag* read the actual contents of a topic before striking for it's title, They need to *crag* stop fapping of RPOT and letting people that frequent it do what ever the hell they want. And they just in general need to get their shit together and stop acting like obnoxious dicks that think they know what is right and what is wrong even though we still don't have a unified rule system that actually works because none of the mods give two shits except Crump, and he thought it was a good idea to put it in the Feedback forum instead of in Intros or even get Francis to put it in Announcements where people might actually read it.
This of course doesn't apply to all of them though. |

I don't get it. The mods don't even strike bad posts any more, just bad posts by certain members. Like Popple. |

They DO strike bad posts. and then, they move them.
sometimes they aren't moved though, so everyone goes up in an uproar.

No. They strike posts that they interpret as bad. They don't actually use any common logic in this decision. They merely use social status and who they are friends with to decide. |

We should have a revolution against the MAN. The MODS. No longer shall we be oppressed, let us rise up against our opressers! |

Moderators are not terrible or stupid at their jobs. Just about all their strikes are legit, and if not, all you have to do is tell me and I can overrule their action. It's that simple. Maybe PMing me is too complicated. Maybe I need a link in the strike message that says "If you don't think this strike was fair, click here", which lets you submit your reasoning. But the problem is not that the strike isn't valid, the problem you have is that you think that it is only you that is getting striked. And no moderation system will ever fix that.
You say you think all strikes should be initiated by THE PEOPLE? Well I hate to tell you this, but most strikes DO come from reports, and it is THE PEOPLE that are reporting YOU. If you only knew how many reports against you that are deleted, you would probably change your opinion. So, I would be very careful about throwing yourself at the will of the people instead of a handful of select moderators.
The system as it is now does support a fair trial. You can post in prison to explain why you think it wasnt fair. If I agree, then I let you out of jail and remove the strike. IRL, you can be jailed before going to court, and you do not get that time back. The problem is that here you could be jailed, and then no one is online to hear your cries until the next day, or even after you are let out.
So I should probably devise a way in that you are allowed to plead GUILTY or NOT GUILTY. If you say guilty, you are instantly jailed. If you say not guilty, then you post in a Court forum your reasonings. When I see that, I make a decision, or ask more questions. Eventually I conclude that you are not guilty and remove a strike, or, that you are guilty and then you are jailed PLUS court fees. |

ooF, and Rawrskey, please look in a mirror. I beg of you.
ANYWAY, Mods should be trying to enjoy their stay at digi too, not striking all day and night, so make their job easier rawrskey, and don't insult people like you always do. |
