UPDATE: The price drop is confirmed starting this Sunday at all stores.
Possibly to make room for a new 60GB model
KMart apparently leaked an ad with the Xbox360 selling at "New Low Price!" of $299 starting July 6th 13th
All you people thinking about getting one should probably wait few weeks.

I know that either way I'm going to regret not getting the other. The wirless is very important to me. And it seems more hi-tech then the 360. |

I just went to Circuit City yesterday and bought one. The girl at Customer Service said that extra money you payed before the drop can be refunded up to 30 days after the drop. Since this is happening in a week, Circuit City would be a good place for a new 360 for the new price early. |

Oh, it has the Wireless Support! If you get the Second Highest Grade (with the Wireless Controllers, Headset, and Wireless Adapter), you can use the Wireless Internet. If you feel like wanting to go a bit cheaper, you can buy any standard Wireless Adapter that's cheaper than the Microsoft Brand for the 360, to plug into the 360's USB Ports. |

No Xbox comes with a wireless adapter. Not even the $450 Elite model. Yes, you can use a wireless bridge or a wireless game adapter made by someone else, but it's still an extra $50 when it would be simple for them to just include a wifi capability like everyone else does (even the Microsoft Zune).
Oh, and the $299 price was also found in an upcoming RadioShack ad, except it is for July 13th:

So apparently this price drop is to get rid of all the 20GB models so that they can start selling a new 60GB model this month (which will probably NOT be $299)
