Yes. The online experience is the best and is probabbly the only reason to want an XBox 360. As Francis posted, KMart is having that sale thing so save up your money Wink

I really want one as well, but I'd never trade in the Wii.

Actually,I don't need to save up. *Pushes glasses up*

Well, here it goes. So far I have about 30 bucks and 40 credit at game stop. So I have about 70. Plus,if I trade in my Xbox and PS2 I should get about 40-50 credit. Now that I'm considering geting rid of the Wii,I'm gonna get even more. Maybe about 100-150 for the Wii. That's about 160-240 bucks right there. Then if i trade in the games for those systems, all in all that's about 70-90 bucks, which includes controllers. If so I should have enough for about a used Xbox 360 Pro,which I think is somewhere by 220. I also wanna get Halo 3(Call of Duty 4 later) and an wireless adapter(For online). That's where my birthday in two months comes in. For the past two years I've got about 100 bucks,so I should have enough for the game and wireless adapter. Anyway, now I'm lost as hell, but if I'm right I should have enough.

*Takes a deep breath* I'm very good with math when I try. ^_^ I know,I'm a nerd. Sigh

Naw, it's not a very good idea to trade in several of your consoles just to get a new one. Really, just think ahead: you'll probably regret that decision later because you won't be able to play all of those older games again. And I'm sure a bunch of FPS's and online (that you have to pay for D:) is not equal to every X-box, PS2, and Wii game.

Although the 360 isn't that bad of a console, in fact I've thought about getting one myself (BANJO-KAZOOIE!!!), it just isn't worth trading in all that stuff for. Plus, online only lasts as long as the console, and the game selection isn't anything special. Just find other ways to save up your money.

If I were you, I'd keep saving up so you could have BOTH the Wii and 360.

I thought about doing this to get a PS3, for about 10 seconds. Then I remembered that if you are to have two consoles, one should be the Wii. Most games either release on the PS3 and 360 or the Wii. And if in another 6 months I have enough I will buy a 360 to complete the monopoly.

Lol,you mean three right? Plus,if I'm getting an 360 I don't need the first Xbox so it's sorta like I'm only getting rid of two consoles. Besides,I have to be truthful when I say that when I was buying the Wii it was mostly just for SSBB. Galaxy wasn't to special,if Animal Crossing gets on Wii it dosen't mater because I don't like AC,Kirby Wii will probley never exsist,I'm not a big fan of Pikmin so if they get on the Wii it won't really matter and I'm not really looking forward to another Zelda game. Not to mention all the other games not made by Nintendo for the Wii arn't really interesting to me. The only two reasons I would want to keep my Wii would be because of SSBB and Mega Man 9.

I'm going to also have to admit that I may regret it later, but at least I can play online with my friends and get games such as Halo 3,Call of Duty 4 and Orange Box.(Not to mention actually getting to talk with other players.) I guess I've just lost interest in the Wii,which is sad because Nintendo has always been my favorite Gameing Company my whole life, but I guess things are just starting to change. I'll always like Nintendo, but the Wii just isn't really for me.

Edit:If I have a good enough reason to,I'll keep the Wii and save for an Xbox360.

What makes you think there won't be a Kirby Wii? Every Nintendo console (except VB) has at least one Kirby game, and the only rumor saying that it wouldn't exist was proved wrong.
Anyways, that's getting off topic.
First of all, I don't think the 360 is compatible with all Xbox games, so make sure your favorites are!
Second, now really think about this: is there really enough GOOD, EXCLUSIVE 360 games to make it worthwhile? Do you really want to give up all of that for the 360 games you plan on getting? Personally, I think you'd love having a 360 at first, but in a few months/years, you're going to get bored with the few 360 games you have, and start to see new stuff coming out on the Wii that you want, and start missing those older, great games you used to own.
Also, like I've said before, don't buy a console based on online play: get it based on the games. Are you sure you'll still play those games once the next system is out and online support has ceased? I know from playing the a relative's 360 that Live isn't as fun as most people claim it is.

I've played Live and it's quite fun. Even if Kirby does get on the Wii,I can still play the DS ones. Also, one of the biggest reason I want to get a 360 is to play with my friends online. What fun is a game if there is no one to share the joy with? Sure online may not seem to great, but atleast it's better then playing against a CPU.There really isn't anything I actually really like about the Wii except SSBB and maybe the soon to come Mega Man 9. Again,I want to be able to play with my friends because alot of times we can't go to each others house to play. If I find a better way to get cash faster,I won't sell the Wii,but I'm still not sure.

If you don't plan to get any further Wii Games and many 360 games are in your interest, sure, go ahead. Your current game list doesn't seem that big. Do you have Game Cube games? If so, do you still have your Game Cube?

Personally, I'm not that much into FPS, realism and gore for whatever reason. Plus, some more Wii titles personally interest me (Wario Land: Shake it) and mom even wants to get Wii Fit for herself, which quite surprises me.

It's all preferences, really.

Yes.

Because the Wii is only for people who like old Nintendo games or are into casual shit. It occasionally has some gems, like Boom Blox, but not often enough to warrant you keeping it.

Also I will totally play on live with you and we can be like BFFs forever k?

Get one if you are willing to pay for online. Because the online is what really makes the 360 a 360.

Personal input:

If you're set on getting a 360, DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, SELL A SYSTEM TO DO SO.

I've still got my old SNES, and I still find myself going back to it to play sometimes. I also have my N64, and go back to that, too.

It's just my opinion, but if you sell a system, chances are you'll find yourself further on down the road regretting the decision. So get both if you're set on getting a 360.
