Well, the biggest gaming event of the year is right around the corner, and with it comes all the speculation that gamers love to hate and hate to love. Obviously, all three major companies have something up their sleeves that nobody will be able to guess at, but hey, that's part of the fun!
Nintendo
-Will continue to flaunt the success of the Wii (though hopefully with less annoying video mashups), particularly Wii Fit
-Playable demos for Kirby Super Star Ultra and Wario Land: Shake It
-IF the rumors of a Kid Icarus game are true, it will be revealed here; otherwise, there's probably not one coming
-Unveiling of next Zelda game, to be released most likely in 2009-2010
-Main focus and "big reveal" of the event will be on the next in Nintendo's casual series; most likely "Wii *Insert Word Here*"
Microsoft
-Focus of the event will be - surprisingly enough - Halo
-Additional details on Halo Wars
-Big unveil will be the new Halo project
-Like last year, will continue attempting to steal away from Nintendo's casual audience
I really have no idea what Sony will do.
Third-Parties
Square-Enix
-Details on Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers will FINALLY be released
-Playable (?) demo for Final Fantasy XIII (and maybe the rest of Fabula Nova Crystallis)
-Dragon Quest IX details
-Possibly a new Final Fantasy game?

I'm praying for a new Zelda game. Hopefully, e3 has some new of its development or whatever...
I'm not sure if valve is a third party company, but I hope to hear some information on HL2: EP3. |

1) Oh dear god yes.
2) That was canceled. I have serious doubts of it becoming uncanceled. |

I know, I posted it, but it was proven false shortly afterwards. That source didn't see it on any release charts in America/Europe, so they assumed it was cancelled, something that has happened before several times.  |

DS:
New DS Lite colors in North America.
New Super Mario Bros. 2 announced
Wii:
New Wii game built upon DS connectivity (like Zelda 4 swords)
New Nintendo FPS franchise headed up by Miyamoto.
Animal Crossing MMO announced.
Plans for external storage support finally announced.
Xbox:
$50 price drop.
Larger base hard drive (60GB).
Cool and sleek new console model with built in wireless (lol, won't happen).
New Mii-like avatar feature revealed along with a virtual world.
Halo Wars details.
PS3:
Release of the 2.4 update (in-game XMB and Trophies)
Downloadable theatricial movies.
More Home details and a launch date.
LittleBigPlanet extravaganza.
Resistance 2 shown.
God of War 3 revealed. |

I'm going to have to agree with this. Except for the Nintendo FPS franchise because I have doubts about that,although it's possible. |

Maybe, but I mean, it's not out till next year and how much can you really say? it's a sequel to portal, that's more than enough to get people to want it. |
