Yup. Olimar is a very powerful fighter, His final smash is pretty unfair, but it's really fun to fly up with Pit, and avoid the whole attack.

To be good with Olimar shows that one has alot of skill. It's kinda hard to control him thanks to his Pikmin, so he's a big challange. |

Olimar is a wonderful character.
A very quirky one, too. All of his moves rely on having Pikmin.
His special plucks Pikmin, his side special throws them and is completely useless if you don't have any, his down special calls Pikmin back to him and orders them, though it also has super armor, and his up special is essentially a tether recovery that requires you to have as many Pikmin at possible to get a good recovery.
All of these are true to the premise of the Pikmin series;
You can't survive without Pikmin.
I like the strategy needed to use Olimar. It's just what makes him fun, though complicated.
His role in the Subspace Emissary is cute. Having the two Captains of Brawl work together is a really funny idea, and nicely done imo.
Overall, Olimar gets my seal of approval.  |
