My cousin, his friends, and I declared the alternate ending one of the worst endings in movie history in our opinions.
Basically the entire movie is the same except for the ending. Instead of the lead zombie breaking the glass enough to form a butterfly with the cracks, he draws a butterfly with his blood. Robert Neville then sees the zombie girl he tried to cure has a butterfly tattoo on her neck.(Now I don't know if it meant she had the cure). Robert then gives the zombie girl over to the head zombie and much rejoicing there is. The zombies then leave the trio in the basement and the next morning thye all leave for the colony in Vermont. The end. |
