I'm really just wondeing this, what pins do you use for battle or Tin Pin Slammer? For me, it's either the Eden Set+Wolf or the Black Planets set. The Black Planet Set is surprisingly good for TPS.

I haven't gotten any of the Gatito pins, except that one storyline-important one and I think one of the Big Bang/Big Crunch set.

So right now, my favorite is whatever Masamune evolves into, and one of the ones that involves "shouting" into the mic. Oh, and Sexy Beam. That's the only pin I can ever remember the name of. D:

I fail at TWEWY, so I kinda have crappy pins. XD;

I just use whatever pins I have on, I don't really bother picking out specific ones.

...

Maybe that's why I fail at Tin Pin...

Okay, use your pins, and DON'T GO near the egde unless the oppoent is.

Spam the Up Arrow special *the dive thing* on them. If you hit them, then slam it off as hard as you can.

If you run out of the Up ones, use the left *hammer* ones.

If you want you can charge the enemy and use right Arrow *Spike* quickly. Also works if they charge you.

And if you get pushed off use Down *flick* quickly.

The key is to spam your moves. XD BEsides that, just live. I barely had any trouble by my fourth time playing. .-.

I don't know how to get the special pins that work in sets. I have a couple, but they don't work together...

How do I get them?

The Eden Set you can buy five of the basic one and evolve them, it gives the holder of the light puck invincibility.

The Black Planet Set, possibly the best offensive pins, are obtained by fighting some really hard bosses on Ultimate difficulty (I.e. Draco Cantus and Panthera Cantus)

But how do I do the different evolutions of the pins if I don't have access to other people with the game?

I was able to buy the Black Jupiter from Hanekoma's coffee shop, but I've heard its not available there in all games, SSSS-BLAM. the only other place to get it is beating Hanekoma in Another Day on Ultimate.

if a pin evolves with Battle PP, just battle. with Shutdown PP, just switch to a set with that pin whenever you shut the game off (and if you're desperate, you can mess with the DS clock to speed things up).
with Mingle PP, just equip the pins and leave your DS in mingle mode for a while. even if nobody else is connecting near you, you might find an "alien", which gives 100 Mingle PP.
