Lately, I just haven't felt like posting. I come on every day, but I just don't feel it, you know? I have plenty of things I want to say and do, and sometimes I even type them up...but then I just decide not to post it. I can't figure out why, I just don't want to.

This has been going on since Summer Vacation began...am I just getting lazy? I don't know...most of the times I type it all up, but then I don't click that Post Reply button.

Am I afraid someone will insult it? Am I afraid it'll insult someone else? I don't know.

There's so many things I want to post...and things I want to tell people, good and bad, but I can never find it in my heart to post it/tell them.

As for the 'wanting to tell people' thing, I'm always afraid that I might accidentally insult them, and then they'll hate me and stuff, and I have enough of that IRL. Or, that they'll completely ignore what I said, and insult me or something.

I know a break would help me...but every single time I try to take a break, I end up coming back the next day, because I'm so used to doing that every morning.

So, I have to find something else to entertain me, which is hard, because there are few things in the world that actually amuse me these days. When I do find something I like, I get all obsessive over it, and either end up staying away from digibutter longer than needed, or getting all fangirl-y over it like I did with TWEWY.

I end up staying up until 3:00 AM every night playing games or being on the internet, wake up five hours later with a massive headache, then waste my day on the internet.

Whenever I try to break the cycle; either things go wrong, or the cycle pulls me back in.

I'm wasting my Summer being addicted to something that's losing it's touch...but I don't know how to break out of it.

So...yeah.

That's it.

Congrats if you actually read that topic-constantly-switching block of text. o.o

Anyways, does anybody have any ideas how to break this seemingly endless cycle? D:

I don't post anymore because I'm afraid of a certain person that's jailed now. D:

I know what you mean.

A lot of times, I type something up, and decide not to post it in the very end. I just...feel like I can't post anything that's needed. I feel...worthless, I guess.

I don't even feel like I'm living anymore, because, in real life, I only have one friend, anyway. If I'm annoyed, I either just tell the person that they're an ass, or I just decide against it. I guess it's because people hurt me all the time, so I get sick of it.

As for the cycle you're talking about... It happens to me, too. I try to take a break, and I can't.

As for the obsessions... I'm the same way. Though, soon enough, people start hating the thing for totally idiotic reasons like "omg the fangirlyness is making me hate the game lol!!!!" Which is no reason to hate something.

In short, if you don't feel like reading that, I think I have just about the same problems as you, at the moment...

1) Same here. Like, when people post about their ideas or art, and get upset because they feel like they're ignored, I feel guilty about it. I like most of the stuff that goes into those topics, but either someone's already said what I was going to say, or I have nothing to add.

2) I don't have very many friends...but that's only because I purposely don't try to make them. Long story.

3) Yep.

4) It's probably because it gets annoying after a while. I mean, if someone's making a bunch of references or being all obsessive about something you really don't care about, you're bound to get irritated, right?

Yeah, I know how you feel. I come on at least once a day, and I still can never get a post out. I mean look at my post count! It's so low still. The only real time I posted was when I first joined, and even that wasn't much. I don't want to insult anyone, but it just doesn't feel the same to me with all the new members coming in. I mean, people like Glitz and devin are fun to role-play with and talk to and so forth, but I just remember what it was like when I first joined and it's not the same. *sigh* I can't even decide to post this or not..........

((Of course now it is obvious that I did.....))

1 - Exactly. It gets annoying, too. When someone posts art and are all "You're all self-centered brats. I hate you." Just because someone doesn't reply for awhile. At least they're not totally ignored...

2 - I don't try to make friends, either. I have a fear of rejection, so I guess it's natural.

3 - Yeah. D:

4- In a way, I guess. But fangirling is going to happen, so, in my opinion, I think they should know that, and live with it. If they don't care about a certain thing, just ignore it. Don't hate it because it has a large fanbase, is what I'm trying to say, I guess.

Yeah...but what's passed has passed, and I see no point in trying to bring it back 100%.

Also, if it helps, I had to force myself to click Submit.

I have no friends outside the Internet, and I am caught in the cycle of being on my compy all the time. Once I get on something I can get obsessed with it and put hours into it. Second Life's one example, and I suppose Digibutter too. I'm also very shy and nervous about approaching people sometimes. But I do love to have friends and be friends with lots of people. ^^

Fangirls don't really bother me. I haven't played TWEWY yet, either, wonder if I'll become a fangirl for that... Eep. Oh well.

Yep, I'd agree with Warai on that we really just don't need to be too bothered by fangirls or fanboys or anything... you know, if they aren't directly aiming at you with their gushing/whatever.

Oh damn, do I feel sad now. ><

I find it funny that you're allowed to hate Haruhi and insult it and hate it because everyone loves it, but when someone like me doesn't like a game because EVERYONE is obsessing over it, I'm obviously breaking some sort of rule here. It's not my fault my family is too poor to buy things I don't really need. I mean, I'm never going to get anything for about a year since I got my tablet, and I'm expected to love this game because you guys are obsessed. C:

People shouldn't be giving you a hard time just because you don't want to play the game or don't really care about it. Quite agreed. It's all our choices and opinions, and they should be respected, so yeah. o.o

1 ~ Well, I speak from experience...if you pour your heart into something and no one acknowledges it, you feel like it was a failure. Sometimes. But, we all have some impatience in us, right?

2 ~ I have a social phobia. Yaaaaaaay.

3 ~ Yes.

4 ~ I guess that applies for some situations...but if people start re-railing a topic with it, they spam with it, flame with it, or are asked nicely to SHUT THE *crag* UP tone it down and refuse to do so...you know. I guess what I'm saying is, it's important to look at both sides of the window; the fans, and the people who don't really care.

@CD: Fans don't really bother me, either. If they get all obsessive about something I don't care about, then I can always ignore them. But that's just me.

@FW: We don't expect you to love the game. At, least, I know I don't. If someone doesn't like the game or they don't want to play it, I can respect that. Especially with TWEWY. It's one of those love-it-or-hate-it games. I can think of plenty of reasons people wouldn't like it, it just happens that I don't have problems with those faults. You know what they say; one man's trash is another's treasure.

You've complained about the fan base before. I guess that doesn't mean you hate it because everyone likes it.

ANYWAY THAT'S NOT THE POINT. THE POINT IS TAYL CAN'T POST AND SHE HAS A PROBLEM. D:

Actually, there's more than one problem in this topic. Posting, the cycle, getting obsessed with stuff, etc etc etc.
