I'm not afraid of a normal, peaceful death... it is just the thought of a slow, painful death that frightens me. And being the kind of person I am, I probably wouldn't think twice of dying to protect someone dear to me... wether I wanted to or not. |

This all depends on what happens to me when I die. Will I cease to exist? Will I move on to some afterlife? Will I be reborn as a towel with frogs on it? I don't know, so I have no reason to fear death. The only thing I really have to fear is the pain. And I'm sure it won't be that bad. I'm going to die sometime, I don't really care when. |

I'm not sure that I'm willing to die, but if it is for a good cause, then I'll die. If I was in a scenario where someone was about ot be shot and I jumped infront of them and saved them from the bullet, then it would be fine that I was able to save their life. If I were to die for my country, by being killed in war, then I would look at it as an honor. I would probably be happy to know, that my country is safe.
Though, a simple quiet death of old age, is what I hope to attain. I don't wish to die of cancer, or some new disease that could pop up in a few decades. Being 102, just sitting there quiet....and then I might pass away... |
