I'm not so sure I'd like to see a live-action Zelda movie, because they could REALLY mess it up, alas. That'd be a black mark on the name of Zelda, then, that people would try to ignore. I wouldn't want the chance of that happening.
Perhaps, though, as a Japanese animated series, lol. I don't know. |

Videogame movies aren't bad because they were destined to be. It's just that we've yet to see production teams that actually give a damn about the videogame movie they're making.
It would be awesome if Nintendo gave the rights to a studio that actually knows how to make movies. Also, Zelda deserves a full-length big-budget film; it shouldn't get some low-quality cartoon based off it like every other videogame series.
And, why wouldn't live-action work? The same "it wouldn't work" arguement could be said about hobbits, elves, and magic rings. Peter Jackson was able to prove that Lord of the Rings could work. |

As much as I like the Zelda franchise and how I would nerdgasm over it and claim to to be the greatest movie of all time, it would suck. However me being the wannabe weeaboo animetard I am I would be perfectly find with a Zelda anime. |

A photo-realistic all CG movie (i.e. Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children) might work (live action would be a disaster), but there's quite a few problems that would have to be solved in order to make a good film adaptation of The Legend of Zelda that would be true to the video games. |
