I saw this on a different forum, and thought it was an interesting question to ask.

Choose from the three descriptions of what fits you best.

Stuff wrote:
People who live in the past are generally the people who spend most of their time thinking, and sitting quiet in thought. When something happens, you keep it in mind for quite a while. Negative or significant events really get to you, and they'll stay in the back of your head for days after it occurs, and you lose sleep when some sort of psychological stress enters your psyche. However, you have an eye for detail and positive events keep you smiling for quite a while.

People who live in the present are the fun-loving, live-on-the-edge personalities who usually act before thinking. You love social interaction, and don't really let things get to you. Optimism is your prime quality, and anything you can do tomorrow you'll do today. Impatience is your one downfall, but there's nothing more satisfying than finally doing something you've been waiting to do.

People who live in the future are serious and straightforward, valuing work over most other aspects. You think looking forward to something is better than the event itself, and cherishes that time in between. Negative things rarely get to you, and if they do, it doesn't last long. Perfectionism can be both a blessing and a curse, as you always think there's something better out there than what you really have.

The past. I value memories above almost all else, and I tend to dwell on things a bit. .-.;

I actually have qualities from all three of those areas.

I believe we can all learn something from the past, so I usually keep track of past events and outcomes. I'm also very quiet.

For present, I do love accomplishing something I've been wanting to do for a while.

I am, in daily life, very serious. Negative, as well as positive things directed towards me don't bother me other than to the extent of, "well, it's an imperfect, disgusting world. Not surprising."

However, out of al the choices, I'm most like past I believe. That is what I chose.

I definitely live in dhe future. I zhink long und hard before acting, when I can, und do zhings zhat I know vill help me in dhe long run. Like dhe art class I'm taking right now. I'm not really enjoying drawing models und bowls of fruit, spendingk hours getting dhe proportions und lighting JUST RIGHT, but I know zhat by dhe end of dhe class, I vill be much more skilled und have a much better understandingk af art. I do spend a lot af time in thought, but I am zhinking about my future, not dhe past.

Based on that article I would say I live in the past. Overall I do really cherish memories, and a lot of those things apply to me, but I like to think of myself as more of a person who lives in the future mainly, always looking forward, but I guess not.

I live in the past AND the future.

But sometimes in the present.

I dwell on past events, I want them to go away, but, you know, the harder you try to force something out of your mind, the more it comes back.

I'm very concerned about what will happen in the future. How will my actions influence the outcome?

But sometimes, I manage to focus on NOW, something that I should be doing most of the time... but only when I know I need to.

Internet is a constant life in the past?

I'm often thinking quietly, and yes, my sleep is affected by recent events. So I gotta vote Past.

I think I might be a combination of the past and future, oddly enough.
