My mom dropped in just a few minutes ago to tell me where she would be at for when I was done work today. She was all like "Where's Melissa? I'm her mom. I just want to talk to her."
o//o;
Then one of my coworkers started poking fun at the fact that my "mommy came to visit" me. >_o;
He asked me what she did, told him. Mom's a teacher at my college. So's my dad, but he's on sabbatical. Then he started harping on how my parents both work on campus and asked if I ever had them as my teachers (which, thank God, I have not).

I honestly don't remember if I've ever had a moment like that. My mom isn't really the kind of person who would exclaim she's my mother. Unless it was maybe at a wedding. |

Its not wrong that you find it amusing. If it happened to someone else, I guess I would be laughing too.
But it makes sense that she'd say she was my mom. After all, she was talking to the person at the desk who let people in (or bounced them out if they were not registered for the current term).
But still... o//o; |
