I have a couple of ideas.
Investment. Members could buy "stock" in a particular forum and/or arcade game and/or shop (Of course, with shops, the shop owner has to agree to letting the shop run as a public corporation), and the more the forum and/or arcade game and/or shop is used by other members than the investor, the more money the investor makes. And, of course, the higher percentage of shares earned, the more money earned.
Also, to reward good threads that provoke alot of discussion, each new page gives the original thread poster a new coin. However, the thread poster loses the coins earned if it is locked and/or deleted.
Meh. Crazy ideas, yet interesting, at least. |
