It didn't falter. Genesis Turned to face them and kicked TMT back before releasing the magic. The entire top the Shinra tower blew off, the three of them completely unharmed.
"Genesis" heard the blast and turned towards the blast. "What's going on up there...?" |

He pulled out a small orb from his pocket, simillar to the on he pulled out in the field, though this one was red. Rufus gasped.
"Tails, get that thing before he summons!" He began firing at Genesis.
It worked. Better than expected. The back of the Genesis copy's neck landed on a sharp rock from the rock wall, and he died. The path to the Shinra building looked clear, and the Genesis copies flying outside it had flew from the power emitting from the rooftop... |

Genesis smashed his sword's hilt on Tails's head. Again, Tails would feel a strange power coursing through him, he still would feel energized...
The front entrance door was completely blown off. Inside, Shinra soldiers were helping whatever wounded they could. The place was littered with dead Genesis copies and Shinra soldiers. As much damage the place had sustained, it was a miracle the elevators still worked. |

Genesis was a bit confused as to why he had not been knocked out yet. He had wondered for a moment - and out the orb came.
The soldiers were all too busy searching for and other soldiers they could save to notice Toph. They ran around the entire floor seaching hard. A few bumped into her, yet continued rushing on to save their fallen comrades. |

The elevator chose a random floor for Toph. A cool, female voice spoke: "Now proceeding to the top floor." The doors shut before Toph could do anything.
